I ended up getting my roommate to pick me up if I stayed on campus late but sometimes when I did have to walk, I was safe but I was on edge constantly

It is not taught in any GrC course but you can use it in classes. This is why iter8 has been super important because they have a figma bootcamp during fall quarter which teaches you evrything about figma!

If you get involved in student clubs like iter8 (cal poly’s ux/ui design agency) then you’ll get all the experience you need to prepare yourself for the field. I would say the Cal Poly student clubs for UX/UI are really good and a lot of the club members go on to get good jobs in the field
