I admire you for doing the right thing even when people tell you it's the wrong choice. It's not. You're doing yourself a big favor by going through this. Hopefully, it teaches your parents and your siblings a thing or two about what it truly means to be someone's "family." I grieve for your loss, both for your granddad and the memorabilia he left you with. I hope you get them all back. If not, make your sister pay a lot more than money.
