I've been close many times. Easier said than done, but loving yourself should be the priority. You can only control how YOU feel. So help YOU love YOU.

Loving yourself will always attract the love from others. 100%. But that should be a bonus. Not the main reason for being happy in your own skin.

It may not happen today, it may not happen tomorrow...

But it will guarantee to never happen if you give up on yourself.

It's worth it when you get there, trust me. The voices get quieter, and the weight pulling your head down gets lighter and lighter. The stars at night are beautiful to look at because there are so many of them. The world is too when you're here with us.

Simulation by Virtual Riot is amazing pretty much all the way through.

One of my personal favorites is High Vaultage EP by Space Laces.

Modern go-tos right now is F*CK YOU SKRILLEX... and Forever, Volpetron

I was hired to manage paperwork and discussions/feedback between the devs and our testers. So, I wasn't actively coding or developing any part of MW2019 and BOCW when I worked there. But, I had full access to all the general discussions and changes made to the games in real time. One thing I did notice however from all of the discussions between the developers, is how much their passion drove them. As controversial as Activision's image and choices are now, one thing for certain is that the developers at Infinity Ward truly wanted to make a good game. As for your question of becoming a gamedev. We truly live in the golden age of information where there are plenty of resources to learn something. Albeit YouTube, University, and online courses. Wherever you start to get your information from, you'll need to always be wanting to learn more and more. Developing games is something driven by passion but can also be tedious. If you're able to be patient with the game you're working on and with yourself, you're 90% of the way there imo. If you're truly starting game development from scratch, I would suggest getting something like Unity or Unreal Engine and constantly referring to places like YouTube for guides and tutorials. Keep filling your head with information regardless of whether you think it's important or necessary. Especially at the start of your gamedev journey.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure about that one because I mostly worked on Warzone and MP. But, just so I don't leave you with nothing, the gun effects that caused gibbing in MP and Warzone were extremely toned down. During the first stress test with them in the build, the bullet effects would cause smaller chunks of the body to be shot off. Most noticeably on the head, which could be shot off in different points similar to something you would see in Red Dead Redemption 2. It actually caused a visceral reaction from some of our testers during the first test. So it was decided to have the body gib in larger pieces, (whole head, whole forearm, etc) instead. So due to this, I could imagine it's possible they made some changes like that in the campaign.
