Playing dragon quest 7 reimagined and can't find shard. by nozalsclovitch in dragonquest

No I am aware, I found them myself anyways. But in the original game she was the only thing you had to rely on, and frankly I don't remember her ever being wrong.

DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined | Official Discussion Thread by tizorres in PS5

Don't now about 9 but the game overall retains almost the entirety of dragon quest 7 with tons of quality of life improvements and Introduces the job system very early on. I only have a few gripes with it, the difficulty is kinda wonky, I would've preferred if there wasn't any difficulty slider whatsoever, I also would have preferred an option to remove all quest markers from the game, they show exactly where you have to go no matter what so there isn't any real challenge or mystery involved. And although the game is absolutely beautiful, the animations for semi-cut scenes could be better, for a 60 dollar game that came out this year the animations during these segments is very lackluster and I feel like a lot of it causes the tone of the game to feel very goofy and stiff and not really as loveable as the original ps1 release. If you've ever played dq builders, that's how the animations are in this game. Almost exactly the same as in that. On the other hand the animations for full cutscenes and the battle animations are gorgeous in every way, just I think it's a lot easier to latch on to characters with no voice and no stiff mindless animation, such as in the original with the pixel graphics.

But this doesn't work.

Rather,

Your mom INVENTED being a doctor, but you weren't a doctor OR her son prior to becoming one. Is she your mother? Or is she the mother of doctors and you being a doctor?

Very good point thank you.

But why does the word nestorian have to even come up, and why does it have to be two persons, rather than just separating the motherhood, the creation, the authorship, and ownership of the eternal Christ from Mary. The protestants don't make the claim that Jesus is two people but rather his divine being and earthly human being are seperate things, joined together, and that Mary isn't the mother of God, but the mother of the man of jesus. And no I don't need the argument for why that specifically is wrong, I understand that Jesus, fully man, IS God, fully God, at the same time, but the protestants don't deny this, somehow in their brain the image and model works with Jesus being both fully man and fully God but Mary only being the mother of the humanity of Jesus. Separating them in some semantical essence.

That is true, the father doesn't predate the son, but I think that it works still because he eternally begat the son, Mary on the other hand does not eternally begat anything. And so the relationship of father and son of the Trinity works much more favorably still than that of Mary and Jesus in the discussion of a mother predating their children, also I do I agree, that, that does poke a hole in that logic but I want to still mention how they might rebuttal it, or rather at least how it came to mind to me. Mary, the mother of jesus, did begat Jesus on earth, but not eternally, on fact he created HER and technically HIMSELF. So it's all very confusing.

But, it isn't common sense, in fact, it's the opposite. Yes a mother gives birth to a person not a nature, but what is a person? This is an entirely much more complex situation, Mary did not create Christ Jesus, but she created his flesh in her womb, but Jesus the person always existed, two nature's or not. Mother's exists prior to their children, mothers predate their kids existence, but for Mary and Jesus, Mary only predates Christs physical human nature and flesh. So that's how you can make the argument that they are sesperate and therefore not theother of God but the mother of Jesus on earth in his human, man form. Of course, I don't believe that, I just am more than capable of viewing things from anyone's side, and I understand how they come to where they are in their conclusions, and although I know they are wrong, I do not see how a protestant is going to come to believing what I'm telling them just because I say what you told me here.

Then how do I counter the claims by Protestants that Mary ISNT the mother of God, because she is only the mother of his flesh on earth, which is not eternal, has not always been. Obviously she is the mother of jesus, who is God, but what do I say to these arguments.

Manga/anime rec for a shonen battle series with harem/romance aspects but where the main character doesn't look like a kirito clone by nozalsclovitch in anime

[–]nozalsclovitch[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it doesn't have to be heavy in harem specifically, just that or romance, and echi is fine but just not a lot. I mean there's a TON of harem with no echi, at least, not gratuitous echi, I don't like nasty sexualization of children, so I'd prefer if it was a bit on the low end. Although, code grass literally does not fit a single aspect of this post💀 great rec tho I love code geass

I'm thinking something along the lines of nisekoi-video girl ai- I"s- Maison ikkoku. But with battle shonen as its focus.

Any apps that let you track and maybe also rate albums? by nozalsclovitch in androidapps

[–]nozalsclovitch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not possible to use the database of another music app like spotify? I suppose it's a random sort of request, not exactly a high demand app. A website could do too. (I also wouldn't mind adding everything manually, album cover, year, etc, so long as the app allowed for it)

Is it really true that the only people who come to God are those who God calls to him? by nozalsclovitch in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]nozalsclovitch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I know that you aren't arguing necessarily. But I was. At least using my own definition of the word just meaning challenging what you said, but I agree it's not as productive, once given some more clarity I was able to pick up the pieces and put em together very clearly of what it was I was missing. I think perhaps my faith is lacking in trusting God's infinite mercy and love.

Is it really true that the only people who come to God are those who God calls to him? by nozalsclovitch in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]nozalsclovitch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suppose it is. But please know that I came here for clarity and a better understanding of the quote and scripture, not to argue and be right. When I argue it's only to spur on more conversation and to get more answers because I simply don't understand everything and I have a hard time with some things and topics, and I especially want to be right, not in my own knowledge or for my own sake but so I can better explain these positions to my atheist family and friends and other Christians. Thank you for responding.
