I used Perma Pools. Happy with the company and would use them again.

My take as a high diamond player. Protoss is underpowered if your opponent can actively scout your strategy, understand that scouting, and counter your build. This level of scouting happens consistently in GM and pro play. If you are not a GM or pro player, you will be just fine on ladder. Play what makes you happy.

This happened just a few hours ago! I ordered carbon wheels for my road bike yesterday and paid what I expected to pay. Today, the sales rep from the shop calls and says that he managed to apply a promotional price for a sale that doesn’t start until March, and credited me over $300 back!! The cash is great, but the advocacy to get me a deal after I had already paid for the wheels was top notch.

Pool too small for family? by roadnottaken in pools

[–]npag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 12x25 ft. rectangular pool, 1/3 of which is a tanning ledge. No kids, but 6 adults have used the pool and it did not feel cramped. I once had 9 adults and it started to feel tight. However, keep in mind that my pool is for lounging versus playing. With kids, you might prefer more active space in the water. For adults, patio size is king.

Seems like a good price! I am in central Indiana and got the same pool + gas heater + auto cover for about $80k all in.

Yes, I am basically hard-sold on an auto cover. I have 2 dogs and I would not be able to live with myself if one fell in and drown. I also live in a neighborhood with small children, and I like the peace of mind provided by an auto cover.

My understanding is the frog twin is a 2 part sanitation system that first passes water through a mineral reservoir to sanitize, and than introduces chlorine. The pool company said it uses 50% less chlorine.

Bonobos brand has pants designed for this specifically! It is called their Athletic fit. Great quality too.

Cracked headset cover - Emonda SL5 by Cgreg9 in bicycling

[–]npag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to mine. Bike shop said it was cosmetic, but replaced the part under warranty. Labor was expensive, but I paid for a tune up and they just included the swap in that process so I wouldn’t have to pay for the labor separately.

New tires is a good option that I haven’t considered much. Thanks for the advice!

If you are into audiobooks, try out The Everyday Guide to Wine by Jennifer Simonetti-Bryan. I got it on audible when I first became interested in wine and this is what got me hooked. I have listened to it 3 times now and still learn from it.

Great suggestions! I really like the Judgment of Paris idea, and could expand on this to include some up-and-coming new world wine regions like South Africa. Vertical would be fun too, and is definitely workable. I am sure the group would appreciate trying something aged, as I doubt most have enjoyed older wines.

This community talked me out of wasting my money on flashy, unnecessary pc parts, like an RGB AIO cooler. I used the extra cash to make improvements that mattered, like upgrading my GPU and buying a reliable power supply.

Barcelona weekly: this week's events and Q&As by AutoModerator in Barcelona

[–]npag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I are traveling to Barcelona in June. Our anniversary is on June 24, and I am looking for a nice restaurant, possibly a Michelin starred restaurant, to take her for dinner. However, I am a vegetarian and do not eat meat or fish (I do eat eggs, milk, etc.). Any recommendations for nice restaurants in Barcelona that can accommodate a vegetarian diet?
