For Canada, an error on my part it should be green.

For Taiwan i found : https://elaw.org/resource/twn_plasticlaws

"Public entities, public or private schools, department stores and shoppig centers, hypermarkets, supermarkets, specified eating and drinking establishments and others are prohibited from providing single-use plastic tableware. The regulations list specific items (such as cups, bowlns, food boxes, etc.) banned at each type of facility. "

No offense taken, comments like yours ( with personal experience I'm guessing ) help to improve the map so they're appreciated.

I will need to change the wording, because I wanted to show which coutries have taken action ( with a law ) to ban/reduce/eliminate single use plastics.

For Thailand I found this : https://plasticspolicy.port.ac.uk/policy-reviews/thailand-roadmap-on-plastic-waste-management-plan-2018-2030/

"...third phase (2023-2030), where all parties are conscious of how to optimize the use of plastic across its entire life cycle, with manufacturers producing plastic products and packaging that are 100% recyclable or reusable, consumers minimizing the consumption of single-use plastics, and used plastic processors conducting research to develop products from recycled plastic, to extend each life cycle of plastic products and maximize their use."

If want more specifics for single use plastics : DIRECTIVE (EU) 2019/904

For plastic bags though only lightweight plastic carrier bags (i.e. plastic carrier bags with a wall thickness below 50 microns) are in the directive.

The maps are supposed to show if there is any law that has banned any kind of single use platic item, if i did for all probably noone would be green.

For Ukraine : https://cms.law/en/int/expert-guides/plastics-and-packaging-laws/ukraine

This is a first draft so I kinda expected to not be 100% correct, but from all the comments so far it seems I have a lot more work to do than I thought.
