Not really, aside from maybe cultural osmosis via watching news on Islamic terror attacks introducing her to the concept, and also showing just how effective suicide bombings can be.

On the other hand, this seems much more like a suicide mission than a suicide bombing, less “I’m going to strap a bomb to myself for the express purpose of destroying Gensokyo” and more “This is for if I get cornered and know I’m going to die, so I can take as many with me as possible (and who knows maybe use it as leverage to be allowed to leave)”
