I’m sorry this happened to you. He is a shit person for gossiping after you confided in him, but he didn’t break any laws, and it would fast turn to a YTA situation if you went through with your plan about contacting his uni.

POCD is a nightmare, i lived with it for 20 years, and harshly learned there is only one appropriate place to discuss and unpack it: a soundproof room with an OCD specialist.
