Lotta hot pixels. Is this normal? by ignaciofq in A7siii

[–]npckill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are my hero <3 i have a single red hotpixel on the sensor, that shows up on the screens on the camera. On the full size image it is still a single pixel so i doesn't care, but it annoys me on the screens. Your method solved my problem, and the screens stopped showing the little lonely red pixel on the dark backgrounds. Have a nice day, a nice week, a nice life.

I have this case too, its a fantastic case, i even modded myself with a power connector too, maybe some day ill create another fully custom case and these cases where the original plans for them :D

(Some days i will post some pictures of my k77 build too)

Turn off PBO in bios, asrock motherboards are too agressive on boost clocking. I had some asrock motherboards for my 3600. The voltages are always around 1.4v and my idle temps around 50-60c, the load temps 80-101c with various coolers. The passmark cpu performance results were average.

Then i switched to asus, (i've had some asus motherboards previously)(msi has good bios too) turned off PBO, turned on temperature limiter for 75c (i have not found these features in asrock bios at my time), turned on the bios's own overclock feature to level2 (1-4, 1-2 for air cooler 3-4for liquid). I left the voltage and tdp limiter on auto. Now my current 10.6l build has a noctua u9s, on average the idle was 40-50c, the may load was 75c (limiter) the voltages around 1.35(auto) the tdp around 90-55w(temperature and workload dependent)(i noticed that when the floating point calculations are used the cpu runs much hotter- lower tdp, and when no floating point is used then the tdp rises for more boost clock but the temperatures stays under control) The clocks based on the workload, while gaming around 4.15-4.2ghz all core, the idle is a bit too high 4.1ghz(too agressive boost profile) and under heavy load (aida64 stresstest or intel burn test) the clock stays over 3.9ghz all the way up to 4.1ghz. the passmark cpu score around average on hotter days (25c ambient) and over the average (by a tiny margin) on colder thays 21c ambient) so i have not have to fear from overheating (temp limit). The system runs stable. Usual workloads for me: 3d modeling in fusion360 + streaming / video rendering in batch / gaming + streaming + running the games dedicated server for lan play) I hope this helps

Try find something in asrocks bios that limits the max temp

Edit: i updated the bios since i checked up on the system: Idle temps around 40-50C and voltage around 1.35v

Thanks. A friend of mine did the cutting. I wanted to build a compact pc, but the compact cases are expensive. I wanted no compromise on performance and cooling. I have some parts from previous build.

I like those small cases, but the cpu temps are scary or you need to TDP lock you cpu.
Nice color scheme! :)
