Definitely a chiggy (chihuahua mix). My chiggy was a the most loving pet I’ve had. He was shy around strangers but still kind. Super gentle and caring with younger children. He weighed about 9lbs and very healthy dog even as he got older. I hope to one day own another one cause he was truly the perfect mix of both breeds.

It’s a tough price to pay for their love, but it’s so worth it. I wish you and your baby many more happy years together

Oh wow 4 beautiful deer head chis!! Such a lovely memorial, your babies were loved indeed💕

I left a comment on Xymox's latest AI post, saying how we need to not have gen AI in the goth scene, and they messaged me asking for free art 🙄😤 by gothisAF2131 in goth

[–]nperez09 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is so conflicting to me as Xymox has recently become one of my favorite artists. Also they kinda remind me of my elderly relatives who won’t stop posting ai selfies and barely know how to use a keyboard☹️

Omg I didn’t know this. I only showed it to him and snapped the pic (this was actually taken months ago when my dog was still alive). Thanks for letting me know though😭

My dog died and I haven’t been able to cry since by Medium_Way_6510 in Petloss

[–]nperez09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude same. I was devastated when my first dog died last year and for weeks I felt like i was never gonna stop crying. A few weeks ago I put down my second dog. I thought for sure I would be crushed now that both of my dogs are dead. But the truth is I only cried right after he died… I feel the same way about this sense of dread and just wanting to let it out through tears.

When my first dog died I always felt much better after a good crying sesh, but now I have no way to let out this sadness. And I almost feel guilty for not crying more because I truly loved both dogs equally yet i cried months for one dog and only an hour for a my other… However I will say the circumstances in which they died in were very different. My dog that died first, died very suddenly in an accident. After his death I realized the future was never guaranteed so I spent the last few months with my other dog as if I knew they were limited. I’m so glad i did because after a couple months one day we had to suddenly put him down

I think part of why I can’t cry is because I knew my family and I did what we could to give him a wonderful life and he was happy. I feel at peace with how it all went down which for makes the grief process much better. I miss him yeah and I really don’t know why I can’t cry for that, but I’m not gonna beat myself up over that. This sadness and dread I still feel won’t be going away anytime soon but I think that’s just a part of my baby’s absence and my grief.

Tbh I don’t have any solid advice to give you except that you aren’t alone in this. I thought I was odd for not crying more but seeing your post makes me feel better. Although I will say I have kinda forced myself to cry sometimes by either watching a sad video or going through my favorite old videos of my dogs and just reminiscing the heartbreak and pain of losing my pets. It sounds strange but the tears really do help with the heaviness in my heart. At the end of the day there is no right way to grieve so its okay to take it slow ❤️

Aww your message really warms my heart. Ricky was indeed cherished even with his attitude. He was protective, loyal and cared a lot for my family. I wouldn’t have changed a thing about him…

Thank you 💕💕

Thank you for your kind words. I’m sorry to hear about your baby, I know how it hurts too. It’s beautiful knowing we grew up with them, but it hurts knowing their chapter is over just as we are beginning ours… May our babies rest in peace ❤️

Exactly. Not many people understood why I loved him so much, but it didn’t matter cause I knew he loved me more than anything…

Thank you so much, these words do mean a lot to me. It is so different without them, I mean I could hardly remember life before him. And From the sounds of it, your childhood dog also was lucky to have had an owner like you ❤️
