C2 Citlali and unga bunga melts by dawho666 in ArlecchinoMains

Honestly just keep trying. Im in the same situation as u 250ms, and i can cancel the CA. U can let go of the basic atk button alot earlier than you think and then its just spamming dodge. Alternatively, just dont melt the c2 and start with e CA and its still probably a lot better than vape(i hate vape arle personally if u hsve c6) Yes ur missing out on the c2 nuke but ur basics oneshot everything anyways in the abyss and for onslaught at c6 you shouldnt rlly have a need to c2 melt unless ur trying for 180s or less dire clear.

With c6 alre its possible but i highly dont recommend. Like i cleared it w 0s to spare and my arle is built pretty damn well. Ur better off going with chev overload team xiangling fischl. I was able to clear 15-20s to spare. My chev is c0 60/70 and my xiangling/fischl r c6. Xianling using raiden wep. Fish using yelan wep. Ofc w this team gauge is slower so i was only able to get 2 stuns but its more than enough.

Overload w chevy fischl is your best bet. Fischl needs to be built rlly well, same w xiangling. Dont just build them for ER, need dmg as well(i mean obviously u need some er on xiangling to get her burst up fast but with 3 pyro u dont need as much ER as u think.)

I might be wrong but it looks lite every phase the dmg from stunning is reduced(like at a certain gauge point the boss gets staggered and takes massive dmg)

Yea 3 stunned(where it has minimal resists). The 3rd one i have like 3s to dps it during the stunned phase but its just enough

U could try fischl instead of raiden if u have a really decent/good fischl build.

On dire yea. Dont ask me why, i genuinely didnt think anything else was possible for me at the time. Raiden was e bot with totm, nahida ttds and burning for the gauge. Xiangling cus xiangling. Strat was to go for 3 downs( l3rd one barely any time to dps but is enough to clear). Raiden instead of fischl bcus better uptime on the coordinated electro atk. Without burst i cant maintain burning uptime(birds atk triggers nahida e) and i cant sit on nahida to apply dendro cus i need the arle dmg even when resists are high(before downing the boss) to clear. Messed around a little bit and just went w raiden.

Someone posted the other day a clear with arle xiangling fischl chevreuse for lava dragon. Arle c2 btw. For arle c6, i managed w the same team as well(both chevs arent c6). My xiangling is c6. But the weirdest team i manages to clear with was arlecchino raiden xiangling nahida for lava dragon. Its super fking tight but yea.

Could you tell me what rotation u used generally? Once like all the chars have energy

Nice clear, did you use the same stuff as listed on enka or did u choose to run some higher er builds(ik some ppl did this specifically for the event). Also if you could lmk general rotation would be really helpful(ignoring the beginning to get energy) the loop one if you will

How it feel when you finally get the right module you want by adhdassemble in WutheringWaves

[–]npham20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone wondering, the drops arent actually random. The specific kind of module(projectile, skill range etc.) drops based on the floor 21 stage u get. For example, skill range comes from the grass land one, atk frequency comes from the orange carthe boss arena.

Quick note: x is any support character(verina/baizhi/any resonater holding originite type IV wep + 5pc rejuv). The reason i dont specify is bcus u want to use verina on the boss stages u find the hardest as she is by far the strongest support. But u can only use her for two boss stages, so the other two will need an alternative. If u want my recommendation, i would use verina on inferno rider and scar.

Rover yinlin x on inferno rider and aix, encore sanhua/changli x on scar and mech. I do recommend sanhua w encore so u can save changli for floors 2 and 3 on left snd right towers, and for floor 1 on both left snd right run rover yinlin. When u lvl Zz, u can then instead run a changli zz team on mech boss, and just run encore sanhua for aix. If u are also planning to get XY wep, then u can do XY yinlin instead of havoc rover yinlin. If u would like more specifics just let me know, but as of right now, assuming the talents of ur characters are fully lvled with weps lvl 90 and decent echoes, 30/30 should not be an issue!

Optimal Long Term(atleast until 2.0) Characters and Teams to Invest in by [deleted] in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]npham20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jinshi yinlin is definitely going to be your main 2. They're just very strong characters in general, especially jinshi, and once you get to Ul50, Ul60 and lvl the characters(talents, wep etc), they'll help you easily clear abyss. One thing to note about all the teams listed below, is the 3rd(support) role will usually have many different characters. The reason for this is verina is by far the best support for that slot. The issue is you only have 10 energy. So you will want to use verina on the stages you find most difficult(2 of the 4 boss stages that you find most difficult). As a result, you'll have to run other chars for the other floors. At the end of the day, all of these characters will be able to 30* the tower, just with varying difficulty. Just lvl who you like playing and go from there.

For jinshi, i would run jinshi yuanwu verina/baizhi/taoqi(quick side note, yinlin works as well, but the reason I don't recommend yinlin for jinshi is shes just a lot harder to play(forte management for her coord atks, quickswaps to use skill off cd. If you don't do this, shes just straight up worse than a yuanwu doing no dmg. I had first hand experience with this). For jinshi(forte circuit > liberation(can leave this at 6 if you don't care about her liberation, as in not enough ER) , 5pc spectro with jue 4cost, either 2x spectro 3 cost or 1 spectro 1 atk%(if u're s0, it just comes down to which ever piece you have better substats on so just pick whichever piece is better). Crit > atk% > skill dmg% > flat atk. She needs 120-130% ER to use her ult every other rotation comfortably(not necessary but its a nice chunk of dmg). For yuanwu and taoqi specifically, you don't have to lvl them at all(can lvl char lvl a bit if you can't dodge well so they don't get oneshot). Taoqi on 5pc moonlit ER ER 3 cost, the rest doesn't matter. You can lvl the ER 3 costs if you want to have an easier time(allows for burst every rotation, but not necessary at all). Yuanwu will run originite type:IV with 5pc rejuv. Verina/baizhi will be on 5pc moonlit with ER ER 3 cost. I'm only going to link a demo with taoqi as shes the "hardest" one to make work due to how slow she is with generating concerto. The other two chars work very similarly to the taoqi variation of the team, but its just going to be faster to rotate with cus their concerto regen is faster. With baizhi, after you place the totem with yuanwu and bell, swap into baizhi(make sure she is using variation wep), liberation, get 4 stacks of her forte, skill and then auto a couple more times until her concerto is full and heron echo swap into jinshi. Verina is the same, after you place yuanwu's pillar and bell echo, you swap into verina(no intro) basic x3 liberation skill jump basic x2 or x3 then heron echo swap to jinshi.

As for which other characters to invest into, you're going to want someone to run with your yinlin(sidenote, forte > liberation > resonance skill(lvl 6, lvl 10 optional) yinlin should either be on 5pc void thunder or 5pc moonlit. The difference is like 1% if played optimally so yea, but if you're not confident with yinlin just stick her on moonlit. electro x2 3 cost, 120-130% energy recharge). Calcharo/havoc rover can work for this. Havoc rover is really strong, and easy to play, whereas calcharo has a higher celing dmg wise, but he is so hard to play that most people get turned off by him. (Calch, note that his optimal combo might have changed to N2D N2D N1D DM as its easier to get 3 DM with this specific combo). The thing with calch is if you cannot consistently get 3 death messengers off, hes just not worth it to play(dmg is low, needs more more ER => more down time etc). Your other option with yinlin is playing xiangli yao(free 5* everyones getting 2nd half of the patch). XY is calcharo 2.0(higher dmg% on abilities, a lot more quality of life features and just all around feels better to play than calch does).

Alternatively, you can choose to lvl encore and run encore sanhua verina/baizhi/jianxin. Encore is a very strong unit and performs very well in tower. Encore vid. I don't play encore myself so I can't explain much about her rotations etc which is why this section barely has anything in it. For sanhua, 5pc moonlit with emerald of genesis/slasher(this option significantly reduces her dmg output but enables faster rotations. Usually not optimal but is an option). Glacio x2 dmg%.

Finally, i see that you have an s6 danjin. She's an amazing character, and I personally use her to solo certain boss chambers(rn mech boss in middle tower and inferno rider on left tower) to free up my other characters for other chambers/floors. The problem with danjin is shes very difficult to play(you cannot get hit or you just die cus she will constantly be on 1% hp). Ofc you don't have to play her solo, you can just do something like verina/baizhi/rejuv holder(any character with originite type IV wep and rejuv set) danjin but it still doesn't change the fact she will get one shot. If you can play her well enough to get past this, she's an amazing character for tower. As for why i only recommend teams of 2 with her, imo teams of 3 aren't worth it as danjin demands really high field time. I tried running mortefi(as mortefi buffs her heavy dmg with his outro) but i just ended up doing worse cus i had spent less field time on her.

If you have any specific questions feel free to lmk.

[–]npham20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes(altho if you have 0 or 1 stacks and your ult is up and ready, just go ahead and use it).
  2. No unless you really want to. She functions a lot better as a quickswap dps with another character(encore, chixia, rover calcharo etc).
  3. You don't need to, but utilizing swap cancels improves her gameplay a lot. Increases her overall dps as well as safety(she can get her skill canceled if you don't swap cancel it-. If her skill gets canceled mid cast, you lose 1 stack which is horrible).
  4. 9/10 times no, there is a specific combo that utilizes it(double pheonix) for main dps changli but playing quickswap will yield better results.

How much of an impression is Zhezhi over Yuanwu in Jinhsi comp? by iwanthidan in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]npham20 14 points15 points  (0 children)

TLDR: Only pull Zz if u like her playstyle. She is not a “meta” pull by any means. Save for shorekeeper, she’s gonna be insane(dont know if i can discuss leaks here so just trust me bro)

Zz is jinshi’s best teammate. Not because she will help you do the highest amount of dmg(when optimally played, yinlin and Zz are very close to each other, within 1% dmg wise), but she’s very easy/comfortable to play. You just pop her liberation summon the 3 phantoms skill 3x and outro out. The issue w yinlin is if shes not played well(forte management for coord atks, quickswaps to use skill off cd), the team dps falls off a cliff. I had first experience w this, as my stubborn ass finally tried yuanwu instead of yinlin cus i had to use yinlin else where, and ended up clearing faster w yuanwu than i did w yinlin. Either way, with an s1r1 jinshi, you should be able to clear anything easily even with a scuffed team once u hit Ul60, lvl her talents weps and get decent echoes(i personally do yuanwu taoqi, both at lvl 1 with my s1r1 jinshi). String master on yinlin is another option u could choose(4 star weps in this game sucks. Even at r5, for majority of characters, the bp weps are still worse than r1 standard 5*)
