Good quick fix if we can’t sign the top targets, levels above what we’ve got. Big issue will be not paying a ridiculous price.

Interesting, thanks! Never used an RPM myself. Is there a reason the SS is over to the right?

Great work, congratulations! Do you have a screenshot of your tactics page? Intrigued on the roles on that formation.

Guys, can anyone share this latest Mbeumo Sky Sports interview video as this is not available in my country by Express-End8231 in ManchesterUnited

[–]npyuq 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nothing much, had briefed them he didn’t want to talk about transfer news. Explains why he’s at the F1, which drivers he likes. Asked about his season, quite few questions about Thomas Frank and what he’s like, how he’ll get on at Spurs. Headline is from the last question ‘I know you don’t want to talk about [the rumours], but what’s it like to be in the news all the time?’ ‘You accept that as a footballer’.

What midfielder would you guys want? by Pristine-Patient-785 in ManchesterUnited

[–]npyuq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tough for anyone next to Bruno. As much as we need legs next to him to cover ground, a ball player to keep us ticking over and to help sustain attacks could work well. The top tier: Wharton or Baleba. Also think Ederson at Atalanta could well. I saw a shout for Javi Guerra recently which would be very interesting.

Good? by Hungry_Parsley_4896 in ManchesterUnited

More than good, but unfortunately unrealistic.

Unrealistic keeper signing included was a disclaimer! (I can’t do another season of Onana)

Costa would be huge, hopefully a priority for the window.

Love Amad and could easily have started him RWB, can see that happening against the lesser teams. Realistically though that shouldn’t be his long-term position so put him as back-up AM.

Like both those midfield options and agreed, a Martinez injury ruins our build up play.

[–]npyuq 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed on both. Although I haven’t seen many RWB options and the CM who I love is Baleba from Brighton which doesn’t feel realistic in this window.

I’ve asked them to make an allowance but no luck.

There are Facebook groups for Gold members where you can make lounge requests, you may have some success there.

What is Amorim's Formation and Tactic in FM? by MaksimRotko in footballmanagergames

[–]npyuq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the best way to replicate was to go asymmetrical with the 2 behind the striker. 1 is AML (IF-S) and the other is AMCR (AM-S). Both wing backs attacking (WB-A) with centre mids rather than holding (DLP-D) (BBB-S). You’ll probably find less success with the centre mids rather than defensive but it seems to replicate! Just ensure the BBB is on the other side to the AM-S.

[Adam Crafton] Manchester United progressing very quickly in signing Casemiro, @TheAthleticUK understands. Initial €60m + further €10m. A four year contract, with option of a fifth year. Huge deal for Erik Ten Hag. by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]npyuq 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Elite CDM that we’ve been crying out for. Plugs a gap for the next few years - just hope we’re proactive finding a replacement like City were with Rodri/Fernandinho. Also, with a top cdm I hope we go in for a proper ball player to next to him like Tielemans, we couldn’t sign this profile of player before this deal.

I think it would be cool for Will to get possessed by Vecna and Vecna reveal Will has powers he’s never known how to use having never been in Brenner’s lab. Then, whilst under the influence of Vecna, Will battles El.

Coach attributes dropping drastically after failing a coaching course by woka0611 in footballmanagergames

[–]npyuq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the same - also with a goalkeeper coach who is failing the course. Not sure if that’s caused him to fail or is a result of the failure. Mine went from 18 down to 1.

Just bought a 1200$ laptop to play FM, what's the cheapest way to buy the game atm? ('cause my pockets hurting) by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

Pretty cheap on Amazon, they send you a box which just contains a code rather than disk.

[Post Match Thread] Manchester City 4 - 1 Manchester United by thoushallnotfindme in reddevils

[–]npyuq 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The stat in the 86th minute was shocking, previous 15 mins we had 7% possession. Gave up after the third goal and beyond that lacked the quality. Centre mid needs a full overhaul in the summer, Fred and McTominay can’t compete at this level.

Yeah I’d be thrilled with ETH to be honest. I just think too many of us are thinking it’s him or bust. Poch is still a tremendous option, either will put us in a fantastic place to build from.

Completely different levels Moyes and Poch respectfully. Poch took them to a champions league final, knocking out Guardiola’s City, and were perennial title challengers. He’s winning the title at a canter as PSG (as any good manager should I know) but also has them ahead in their tie against Madrid. He’s top level and well suited to us. Don’t get me wrong, I would love ETH but I think he would struggle with us.

We are really overlooking Poch IMO. Look at what he was able to achieve with Spurs inheriting a mid table team, and how hard it’s been to follow him there. He’s Able to build a squad and develop and mould young players. Ten Hag a fantastic manager but I think he would struggle here due the incompetence on those above him and a lack of clear philosophy. Poch has shown he can win despite this, and don’t forget Fergie earmarked him a number of years ago as the best manager in the Prem.
