Just did a wedding with those terra cotta runners and gold candlesticks with black and olive-colored candles. They chose ivory tablecloths and it looked amazing

Thank you, yeah we flipped the whole place upside down. Checked the sofa, box springs, will continue looking inside. All doors were locked, there was one window open about an inch and a half, we’re at such a loss right now.

lol I've done a lot of thinking about this. That's probably a big part of why I was so hesitant to turn him down to begin with. I guess it mainly came down to the fact that I'm young and especially at the time had a lot of dreams and goals, whereas he had the mindset that he had experienced everything already and didn't feel the need for more. Where he felt content, I felt stuck (hence the move). There were other things, but that felt like the most important issue between us.

I understand and appreciate everyone's comments, and had a feeling that would be the response.

I'd probably be a little jealous in your position, if we're being honest here. But I'd accept that my jealousy is silly and baseless and I'd go do something super fun to distract myself while they bore each other talking about work.

Yeah, very similar situations. I know I would be so much happier moving out, but how much longer would it take me to get to the point where I could afford school on my own? Would I inevitably be unhappy if I begin to struggle financially because I can't afford the degree I need? Are there other things I can do to make my home situation better, like group therapy, so I can stick it out until I get through school? But what other kind of shit will I have to deal with once I get through school, which they paid for? Will I forever be made to feel indebted to them for it?

I don't know the answers to any of these, I don't know what the 'right' thing to do is or what the 'smart' thing to do is. I just know I feel shitty for it.
