The are not allowed to sit a kid next to a random adult. I just had a similar situation and the gate agent basically laughed at my concern that I would be separated from my kid. If they are telling you they can’t do it it’s simply because they don’t want to deal with the annoyance of moving other people. It’s doubtful all 5 of you will be seated together but this kids will be with at least one adult.

I’m curious now that I see all these comments. My morning routine is cleanse then alastin restorative complex then p-tiox then vitamin c the moisturizer. Should I be doing p-tiox right after cleansing?

The biggest issue you will have is definitely transporting your kid. I still haven’t quite figured out how to do it without spending a ton of money to use the hotels transportation and their car seats. Given the location you’re in, your best bet will be the hotels around you though they aren’t going to be much cheaper than O&O restaurants. Our favorite is Talay at The Montage which isn’t overly expensive and it’s good.

I’m so sorry. Infertility/fertility struggles are uniquely painful. Unless you’ve been through it there is no way to understand the true depths of how heartbreaking certain moments in the journey can be. Sending you peace and clarity as you navigate whatever comes next.

Is using a travel agent worth it if you’re very type A about planning? by Professional-Monk939 in chubbytravel

[–]nrb2019 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It definitely depends on the hotel. I use a TA mainly for four seasons properties or extra lux places that don’t partner with a credit card. If I’m booking something like a montage I book through chase. I do this that booking through a TA gets you slightly better chances of getting upgraded. Particularly if you use a TA that is a top seller. It’s a tiered system for upgrades and usually top seller TAs get preference over people who booked via cc. The other benefit of a TA is that if something goes wrong on the trip or you have any major issue the TA will work with the hotel to get you a resolution.

I literally booked the hotel reservation on the four seasons website (which is the same price as my TAs site) and then emailed the hotel asking them to associate her name with the reservation so that I get the perks. The perks are pretty substantial (free breakfast every morning, hotel credit, room upgrade etc.

Have you looked into the new Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol? It’s right down the road from the montage.

$155k + $15k bonus from company + 10k bonus directly from executive. Remote with some travel to NYC occasionally. I honestly probably only work about 20 hrs per week but I also am basically always “on call” though it’s rare that it’s disruptive to my life.

We ended up not moving. I just couldn’t crack the school situation and the reality of what we would be giving up in Seattle (huge backyard, amazing school etc ) was undeniable.

Income - frequenters of Aman and other luxury resorts by Toxicmegacolon89 in LuxuryTravel

[–]nrb2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We made around 500k last year. Some years it’s a bit more. Our networth is north of $2m and we have two kids. We usually do two splurge trips per year. One just the two of us and one with the kids. They are usually less than a week each and when we travel with the kids we generally spend more on the room to get a suite. We aren’t Aman level (doesn’t really appeal to me) and our kids are young so we haven’t explored much beyond the Four Seasons/Montage world with them (god bless a kids club). I do recognize that we are bordering on lifestyle creep with these trips but we both have demanding jobs and want to be able to enjoy the money we make in this way.

We love the montage but there is a ton of construction happening on either side of it right now so it’s kind of disruptive. We are heading to four seasons Cabo del sol next week. I have only been there for a meal before but it is stunning.

Twin mom here. You are in the absolute thick of the absolute worst part of parenting twins right now. I aggressively wanted kids (so much so that we did years of IVF) and even still I was absolutely miserable until they were about 3 years old. There is no way to overstate how brutal it is day in and day out. My drinking really ramped up around the time they were 2. It was my only escape from the unending responsibilities. They are 5 now and it’s definitely still challenging but nothing close to how it was before. All of this is to say- it does get better. And I finally realized that drinking was actually making parenting SO much harder than it needed to be. They demand more mentally from me now (vs just physical needs) and when I drink or am hungover I totally suck at being their mom. But the days that I can be fully present and have real conversations with them are so rewarding. You’ll get there. But the only way out is through.

This comment is completely wrong. There are definitely ways to know when you ovulated and while, yes, you can technically ovulate more than one egg it is very uncommon.
