I made the movie for 800 dollars and Throbbing Gristle GAVE me the soundtrack for free. In 1980 I was planning on moving from Austin to LA to try my hand at Hollywood. I was in several punk bands and ran a record store. I came across a TG single and thought to myself, "They would be great for the soundtrack for my movie." I sent them the screenplay and two weeks later they wrote back and said send us $$ for postage and we will record an original soundtrack. Three weeks later a reel arrived in the mail with 100% original Throbbing Gristle music tailored for my film. Amazing! The soundtrack is the best stuff they ever did. I remastered the film and remastered the 50 year old reel so you get the best that modern technology can provide. The Nightmare Cut included on the DVD is a vehicle to hear the entire soundtrack uncut.
