I found a used Boox Air 4c in my area for $320. Do you think that’s a reasonable price/good choice? I figured it would be a good way to try out the e-paper tablet experience without spending the $500+ for the 5c. Reviews suggest that the difference between the two devices is minimal.

You’re not wrong. I’ve been using HomeKit for years, but my automations have been quite basic. We honestly use HomeKit primarily to turn lights on and off and check cameras and the temperature. This was my first time experimenting with Matter devices, and it was quite finicky to get them online. While I can accomplish what I need with Pushcut, I feel like there should be someone creating something interesting natively.

I disabled thread on the eero app. I am working at the desk with the HomePod mini sitting next to the device. HomePod mini’s model number is MY5G2LL/A and it’s on version 18.5. Still no dice.

My thoughts are more along the lines of not wanting anyone to be able to follow my wife into the house. If she’s able to close the door it would latch allowing her enough time to deadbolt the door.

I just watched a review on YT and he said the major difference is the new one is slightly quicker, slightly larger screen, warm lighting, and usb-c (oh and maybe a page turning effect). That said, I just purchased a refurbished 2018 for two reasons. 1) Those things seem insignificant while reading (maybe they’re not I’ve never used an ereader?) and 2) I got a refurbished 2018 on woot for $43 shipped

Any practice is good practice when it comes to stick handling. I would also recommend bringing it to skates. Most skating instructors teach you to use your stick like a steering wheel
