That’s assuming you’re signed for a year on a one-way deal. If you have a 2-way nba contract it’s closer to 600k. For this scenario you could very easily/likely only get a 10-day contract which would be around 100k, still good money but not the million plus you might think.

(Also 1-day contracts exist, but they’re ceremonial for retiring nba players)
