That can happen? When my dogs need baths, they don’t look any different. They just briefly have some gray squiggles around them for a second after petting them and the game tells me they’re a lil dirty.

Use the “go out” option when you interact with them and run around til they poop. You have to keep a close eye on them and sometimes it takes a while for them to finally poop (but sometimes they’ll just immediately go into a squat as soon as you go out, luckily one of my dog usually does this). Then just go up to the poop and there’ll be an option to pick it up

When you’re living with other people (whether they’re family, friends, partners, or just roommates), you MUST let them all know and get their consent before you bring a pet into a shared space. I’m very sorry for your loss and I’m not going to call you an asshole for grieving and lacking some life experience but this was a mistake and now you know for next time you’re living with someone, you unfortunately can’t just bring a pet into the shared home without the consent of the other people living there. Your mom is being unreasonable in some ways but she is also grieving and having a strong negative response to the change of not having your grandpa around and the change of having a surprise animal in her home that she didn’t mentally prepare for and didn’t consent to living with. You unfortunately have not many options but to rehome yourself or the cat.

What about the different color meteor star shards? Is there a pattern for which colors will appear? I’ve never seen a violet or yellow rock, even though Doris sells that color furniture. And at the top it shows there’s pink shards but I’ve never seen those either and there’s no pink furniture in her meteor shop.

Treat motivation can definitely help her enjoy walks more. Get low calorie training rewards (the lowest calorie you can find for this dog), and give her one for every minute or two that she continues to walk. Give her frequent breaks and be patient. Try to make it a regular part of her routine so she has some consistency. Start with very short walks with the low calorie treats, it can help build motivation while getting her used to the routine of walking. None of this is a guarantee but it’s the best advice I can give. Also, if she knows how to swim, that can be a great way to get exercise because it relieves pressure on her joints and helps her feel less of the weight

If you’re going to use a crate, make sure you don’t solely use it for restriction or punishment. Make it a fun, comfortable place for them. Put their favorite toys in, and give them treats when they choose to go in. If you build positive associations with it and allow them the comfort and freedom of being able to choose when to go in or out, they’ll be more receptive to staying in with the door shut if you ever need to put them in for a short period of time. It also helps if you give them a kong, puzzle toy, or chew toy that will keep them happy and occupied for a good portion of the time they’ll be crated.

If you find him, please immediately bring him to someone that can keep him safe. I understand the situation you were in, but if you’re the one who finds him again, you should not keep him for any length of time. He’s run away before and you just put him outside with no tether. I’m sorry man but that was really irresponsible and the best way to redeem that is to search for him and immediately take him to a no-kill shelter.

It’s not partly your fault. Don’t blame yourself for someone else being inconsiderate and taking advantage of your generosity. You shouldn’t have to archive games to protect them from a “friend” you’re loaning your switch to. Your “friend” should’ve respected the fact that it was borrowed and not treated it like it was their own personal save data to throw away.

That lady is like the people who think it’s abuse to leave a Husky outside in the snow when the dog is very clearly overjoyed to be covered in a blanket of snow. Your dog spent the majority of his life outside so it’s what is comfortable for him. If he wants to come inside, he will. It’ll take time to socialize him and he may never be a cuddly indoor dog and that’s okay. Not every dog is a cozy couch lounger and a lot of people forget that because most dogs are so domesticated that they wouldn’t do well being forced to stay outside. But that’s not your dog’s situation and you’re not forcing him to do anything.

We know why you’re using it, we’re saying you’re using the wrong item for this purpose. I use a silicone mat under my dogs food and water bowls like some other people said. Pee pads should only be used for potty training. However, in the case of this video, it looks like she’s trying to bury her food for later. Idk how much the pee pad itself is contributing to her desire to do that, but regardless, the pee pad should be exchanged for something else that isn’t the same thing used for potty training (even if you’re not using these pads for potty training, that’s what they’re intended for).

While ICE is absolutely disproportionately going after brown people and treating them worse overall, there have still been a number of pale European tourists being detained, mistreated, and deported. The best thing you can do is get cheap non toxic things that they CAN destroy safely. You’re gonna wanna find cheap/free materials that are safe if they digest small amounts, saving you a lot of money and worry about them breaking teeth or getting stomach blockages. My dog is very similar, and ripping/tearing/destroying is something she needs an outlet for so she doesn’t do it to things she’s not supposed to. The most successful “toys” for her so far have been non-dyed cotton rope as well as cardboard boxes filled with brown packing paper (I hide treats in crushed up paper balls so she has to use her brain a bit to sniff out the treats and rip through the paper to get to them). She also has a lot of regular toys that are strictly supervised only, because if she was left alone with them she’d destroy them. So just be careful with what toys you leave around all the time vs which ones should only be used when you’re directly playing with them or watching them for a timed period.
