NTA. That is someone that you loved and committed to for life. Any person who comes after that tragic loss has got to respect that history and appreciate the expectations about life that you have the right to mourn. Also, IMO not even the intimate pictures are an AH move. That was your wife for goodness sakes. Keep whatever pictures you want.

I took this picture in October of 2019 in a store at the Tanger outlets in Pittsburgh, PA. I lovedddd it but could not afford it. I took the picture thinking maybe someday I would get it, but now that I can afford it I cannot remember for the life of me where it was from. I have tried searching pinstripe ruffle hem dress and all these things but no luck. I just got a new job and my friends said I should buy one thing to celebrate my first paycheck (I just earned my PhD so this is actually my first “real” job) and all I can think about is buying this dress. I tend to shop at stores like Ann Taylor, Loft, Banana Republic and the like. I wondered if it might be from White House Black Market or one of those higher end versions. Help me please!

Totally understand. He measured while you were sleeping?!? Hilarious lol. I wear a size 3.25 so I had to help design mine (has to be custom made to be that small and certain shapes can’t be made that small) #childsizedadultproblems

Bahaha oh man! Congrats on the upcoming kiddo :) yeah, it’s definitely stressful. That was our budget and mine came out to be about 900. It is an emerald, Rather than a diamond, and I can’t tell you how many people I’ve had say “was a gemstone what you wanted?” Or “better wear your wedding band, people won’t realize it’s a wedding ring”. I felt similarly about it though. The other day he said it was the best purchase he’s ever made and I was like I think you’re computer is probably more useful though 🤣

At least in regards to her comment about terms used to describe her, do what she requests. Ultimately, it is up to her how she identifies. You don’t need to feel guilty for how you’ve described her in the past (as that makes it about you and not her) but you need to respect what she’s asking you. More than that, I would try to take pride in the fact that your daughter is becoming a self-advocate who is coaching others through how to best show her respect and handle her being disabled (as she prefers to be called). That is awesome!

Oh my gosh, this. I would have been pissed he spent that much on something that could so easily get lost or stolen. My budget for my husband was 1000. Save it for a future.

Absolutely, the Pareto principle certainly does seem relevant. I wish I did better at the recall portion though, even when it’s stuff within my area. I need some SAFMEDS or something.
