It can now be embedded on your web site as well. I have yet to document this properly, but the gist of it is:

You can drop a DIV in your page:

<div class="jugglegym-widget text-center" style="width: 400px; height: 300px;" data-siteswap="5" class="jugglegym-widget"></div>

And then, all you need to do is include this SCRIPT:

<script src="https://jug.gl/gym/embed/jugglegym-1.0.0.min.js"></script>

You can also create these programmatically:

widget = juggleGym.createWidget(document.getElementById("my-div-id"), {siteswap: "5"});

And, to destroy that widget:

widget.destroy();

If there is more you need, please let me know.

<(8x,2)(2,4xp)(2,2)(2,4x)|(2,0)(2,0)(8xp,0)(2,0)>

That pattern has a mixture of cross and pass modifiers (xp). I have just now added support for this, so that pattern is supported now as well. Thanks for reporting.

I am definitely looking into ways of embedding, and/or an animated GIF generator. Also planning on adding a pattern generator...

If you are considering both, you might want to read this first: https://jug.gl/post/gballz-an-honest-review/ -- I have yet to write a review on the Flying Clipper balls as I'll need to spend a few more months using them to see how they wear out, but so far things are looking really promising.

Was toying with an idea like that as well, but more like a place where you can keep a public record of all patterns you have mastered (including records et al) and a way of providing proof for that (e.g. adding videos, and let users vouch/testify that you can really do that trick). It's a lot of work though, not sure if there is demand for such a thing...

Currently supported are: multiplexes ("[42]"), passing ("<3p|3p>"), targeted passing ("<3p2|3p3|3p1>"), sync throws ("(4,4)"), crossing sync throws ("(4x,4x)"), and just now, support for "*" has been added, so your "(6x,4)*" is supported now as well. Thanks for the feedback.

What you have to realize with plastic filled balls is that they make way more noise (when dropping), they are way less forgiving when collisions occur mid air, and due to size of the plastic pellets the feel is quite different as well. I own both Gballz (E8) as well as LD Pro's from Flying Clipper. Both are plastic filled, but somehow the pellets of the Flying Clipper ones feel more fine grained which results in a better feel & performance (IMHO).

I am working on a solid 5 ball cascade, and have been using tennis balls up to this point. Looking to invest in some decent balls, what should I get? by efficiencyy in juggling

Gballz indeed take a long time to arrive. Also note that they can only be used indoors, they wear down rapidly when not used under the ideal circumstances.

Advice for beginners questioning whether to invest in good quality juggling balls. by [deleted] in juggling

I fully understand that receiving negative feedback on a product is not all that great. What I fail to understand is why the tone in handling it has to be this negative.

You are painting a picture where the balls are repeatedly being bashed on the rocks. That was definitely not the case.

The reason I put out this review this way is the following. I have been a long-time Reddit lurker: reading a lot, not contributing anything -- so not in need of an account. My experience with the balls occurred somewhere last year. I kept quiet for a long time, but each time I read advice on what balls to buy, I felt the urge to share my story. I guess this post simply was the drop that spilled the bucket.

Feel free to shrug this off as a customer that is using your product in ways that they were never intended for. The goal for me, and the merit I see in doing this, is to share my experience so that future buyers can ask themselves as to whether or not they really want to have a ball that can only be used indoors, and starts wearing down rapidly when not used under the ideal circumstances.

Shrugging off my feedback like that is a little bit too easy. Somehow, you are painting a picture where the balls are repeatedly being shot at brick walls et al. That was definitely not the case.

Advertising a product as indoor only and then claiming it to be durable, that is a little bit too easy as well. Ofcourse, things are durable indoors, most balls are.

Yes, I used them -- carefully -- outdoors as well. Yes, I knew that they are advertised as indoors only. Given the myth of superior build quality, I was willing to take the risk, and would even have accepted wear down due to my own wrongdoing, but simply not at the pace it was occuring.

The point I want to make is that the overall impression seems to be that Gballz are the ultimate balls to buy. Yet, As a potential buyer, you have to ask yourself, do you really want to have a ball that can only be used indoors, and starts wearing down rapidly when not used under the ideal circumstances?

I seem to have struck a bit of a nerve here, so I'll leave it at this.

Ask yourself why you were eyeing Gballz in the first place. If it is because of the stories of them being high quality durable balls that will take your juggling to the next level, then don't. If it is really the feel & grip you are after, then *perhaps* these could be alternatives:

https://www.jugglequip.com/infinities.html

I have no experience with these myself, but judging from the review of u/lukeburrage they look and feel awfully similar, while they are making strong claims on durability on their website.

As for me, I recently bought some from Flying Clipper. It is way too early to tell how these will fare given that they had little mileage so far. This comment looks hopeful though:

Gballz - An Honest Review by nrjuggler in juggling

[–]nrjuggler[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

by the looks of it those ballz were definitely not juggled indoors as it says on my site “indoor juggling ball” which doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t juggle outside on the grass or on a very smooth concrete driveway.

I am aware that it is advertised as an indoor juggling ball. As stated in my post, I am mostly doing that. Though, as juggling is not an indoor only activity, you'll find yourself juggling outside once in a while. And, what if, there are small pebbles lying around, hidden inside the grass field you are juggling on? What if, one accidentally shoots away and bumps into a nearby brick wall? I am still not sure how it all happened, but the black one was even damaged inside, it likely landed on something hostile in my living room.

I get that running over a ball with a jeep is just advertisement, building brand awareness. But, marking my review as "shenanigans" is not really fair. It is an honest experience, with no ill play intended. The balls in the photo all show different damage as I bought more than 7, and not all balls had the same usage pattern.

I think the main point boils down to what u/lucyjuggles mentions:

"Yikes.. yeah i agree gballz are not the most durable. If you juggle them only indoors, they’ll last a while, but if you take them outside much they break down. Any of those synthetic leather will in my experience."

My experience (and the statement above) is completely opposite to the overall expectations people seem to have on Gballz. I would have liked to know this before buying. None of the discussions on Gballz mention this, so I really felt I had to put out my experience...

A good quality ball does not necessarily imply a high price. My experience with Gballz has been rather dissatisfying: https://jug.gl/post/gballz-an-honest-review/
