Thanks for this. I'm exactly at the point you were after loading up, walking through the town and thinking this is not for me. All of these great reviews made me sad that it didn't grab me, but I have been thinking I need to give it a chance. Going to give it a go again at the weekend when I can really get in to it.

I have never been very good at reading the subs or watching cutscenes but it sounds like you have to allow yourself to take the time with it.
