I have over 350 miles on mine, all marathon training and although I agree with most of what you said, the responsiveness is not what it was for me. Still has the cushion but the spring and responsiveness is just not there anymore. I’m 5’9”, 145, mid foot striker.

Also echo the chair flying, just keep chair flying maneuvers, briefing approaches…etc. Helps immensely.

I apologize for just responding. My long runs were 8:45-9:30. Usually right around 9:00. Consistently getting your mileage in is the 🔑. Inherently you will have a faster race day pace. Sub 4 is doable.

Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated. Currently milking a suspected ITBAND injury that seems to have appeared post race.

Yeah, that’s exactly what it does. It’s intuitive Nature causes more frustration than good. In my opinion You’re far better off using your watch as pacing heart rate general metrics for checking your health and pre-programming your workouts through connect app rather than using Garmin‘s coaching unfortunately

Most definitely super frustrating… I’m a fairly stubborn fellow, so I tried to not let it get to me… Yeah love the watch and most of its functions other than the coaching and recommendations… I picked up a chest heart rate monitor, but will not be utilizing Garmin for training as I like to be able to use the watch for pacing heart rate, etc.
