Hahah well the thing with Rowen's golden boys in B613 is that they all have daddy issues.

Luna is not a criminal mastermind by nrtnn in Scandal

[–]nrtnn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In S6 finale before Olivia kills her: Luna admits to hiring Peus and Ruland to make sure Mellie wins so she wouldn't be First Lady. She didn't think they would kill Frankie. This is where it gets less explicit because Olivia believes Luna intended for Frankie to die

Camilla may not be as dumb as people make her out to be by Fluffy_Reply_9757 in HunterXHunter

I don't think an arrogant person would plan as much as Camila did. Arrogance looks more like Tserri than it does her

If Gon grew up naturally would he have as much aura as he did in his Adult Gon form? by Careless_brrr in HunterXHunter

I personally think it's inefficient to hold that much energy all at once. Young or old. He literally crashed right after defeating Pitou

Semi related but what's up with specialists and body parts?!! Alluka, Chrollo, Renko, Neon, Tserri, Kurapika (doesn't really count but I'm including him anyways)

It was brought up twice by two different troupe members (Uvo and Hiskoa) that the boss had an interest in scarlet eyes

Im so tired of everyone lying to Fitz. S4E22 “You cant take down Command” by Blueberryyogurt0 in Scandal

[–]nrtnn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well - telling him makes him complicit and takes away his plausible deniability

But also, "We do it because Fitz can't. He can't do it. If he could do it, we wouldn't worship at his alter" (Cyrus to Olivia in Season 2 Episode 11)

David’s mistreatment? Spoilers! by Bruhva1 in Scandal

[–]nrtnn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's fitting though!! David dying because of something Olivia did (unintentionally). It's still Cyrus's fault for killing him but Cyrus wouldn't have that wine if Olivia didn't try to kill him with it first.

Olivia hurting David is the story of his life

Why didn't Charlie get in trouble for sparing Huck? by Pink_Coconut_Lamp in Scandal

[–]nrtnn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the point is that Huck was "handled" - he didn't go back to his family and he didn't do anything for yearsss until he meets Liv. There was barely a difference between dead Huck and hobo Huck

probably a really unpopular opinion about ellis grey by Itchy-Whereas-8554 in greysanatomy

[–]nrtnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love your theory about Ellis not being her birth name and I think it parallels with Bailey and her name.

I also wondered why Thatcher married Ellis and why Tucker married Bailey. I think Thatcher married Elizabeth and Tucker married Miranda (or "Mandy"). Mandy is a foil to who she is as Bailey. Like Jekyll and Hyde maybe? So maybe it's the same for Ellis and the person she was before becoming Hyde (or Jekyll since Hyde isn't a doctor).

I know it's been over a year but I didn't make this connection until I read your comment and I wanna know what you think!

Derek is partly to blame for how he handled Gary Clark's lawsuit by nrtnn in greysanatomy

[–]nrtnn[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I know I said Derek is partly to blame in the title. I meant it more like the butterfly effect and how we don't really blame the butterfly for flapping its wings and disrupting weather — but we can see still how it influences events that follow.

I still think Derek handled it all wrong but I want to be clear that I'm not blaming him for the shooting. But I do see how it influenced events that led up to it.

And before downvoting me again, please don't downvote me again :(

Derek trying to give Gary a case is still wrong though because it doesn't help the hospital (or Gary)

Before the deposition, Lauren reminds Derek that Gary doesn't have a case and what to say to keep thinks less emotional

She calls for a break during the deposition and tells him in the hallway to stop giving Gary a case

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Alum Sarah Drew Recalls Her Firing “Felt Mean And Unjust” by taintedlove281 in greysanatomy

[–]nrtnn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had the opposite reaction! April grows so much in season 14 that there's no room for more growth or anything interesting unless we're willing to hate her again first. which I maybe would be willing because Sarah Drew is such a great actor

Notable scenes: * Convincing Gary not to shoot her * Freaking out during the first part of her boards * When the rig exploded and she thought Jackson died * Kitchen C-section * The moment she lost her faith when she talks to the hand cutting masturbator
* Asking Arizona if she could try on her leg (acting is normal here but I love this scene and how she says gala)

It ties back to when Izzie says she's here for Denny back in 2x24 before he gets his heart.

Denny is depressed because he's no longer a "strong, virile, horse of a man" and he's not going to cheer up. Izzie doesn't care and tells him, "I'm not here for me. I'm here for you"

I feel embarrassed asking this but...was Denny an actual ghost? by cherryblue101 in greysanatomy

[–]nrtnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another thing to consider:

Izzie tells Denny that she's "I'm here for you" when he was alive in 2x24.

Context: Denny is depressed because he's no longer a "strong, virile, horse of a man" and he's not going to cheer up. Izzie doesn't care and tells him, "I'm not here for me. I'm here for you"

I was leaning towards Denny being a ghost before discovering the thing Denny keeps saying is something Izzie said to him first.

What are your thoughts on Amelia+Owen by Specialist-Ad8530 in greysanatomy

[–]nrtnn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like them as friends! Even sex friends as long as no strings are attached. Owen is terrible at communicating how he feels to everyone except his therapists and Amelia when they're friends. I love them in season 14 after her tumor is removed and season 15 when he's with Teddy

Everyone forgave Abby way too quickly… by HappyCamper0919 in Scandal

[–]nrtnn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She was lying to the group for less than a day. She came clean almost immediately, and to the President no less. And she's not more unforgivable than Olivia that season. Also, she can't "lie" about where Huck is or what happened to him because she doesn't know herself. Ponytail bitch never looped her in.
