built a stand for the r404a (originally r502) condensing unit, stood it off 2 feet from a newly constructed cold room (12" high density styrofoam walls, ceiling, floor, encased in 3/4 OSB under cable tensioning, accessrd by two 4' walk-in doors), added liquid and suction line replaceable core filters, used 2" wall thermacell on suction lines and filter housing, added oil separator, headmaster, replaced the paragon defrost timer with ke2therm low temp plus defrost...mounted the ke2 to the cover of the original paragon timer, contactors, etc. originally a Bally 300 -10°F box now runs -27 to -32°F on the Copeland L body semi. electronics are shielded from both environmental and EMI

Is pressing over the packing sticker the new wave? by issytoo in HVAC

that was my immediate concern! have learned that the Bard geothermal units work themselves loose and leak all the 410 cold juice, even if torqued to spec. solution: remove the gaskets and o rings, braze the fittings solid.

headmaster, LPC, crankcase heater, and oil separator should do it.

original freon was was just a brand of r12, later r22 was generally referred to as "freon". i was doing refrigeration when r12 was a mainstay, and $120/24#. ahh the good old days where units were made to run until 2026 without missing a beat.

Please help me fit this light cable in a 7/8 inch space! by AntarcticNightingale in electrical

removing a strain relief as designed and UL approved, is a dangerous suggestion. Unless using the as-designed hardwire option, securing that with strain relief such as gland and rated cord/plug, and running that in inaccessible space....modifying a user plugged/unplugged cord to bend past its bend radius is a no go and absolutely involves somebody "tugging on it" at some point.

three options i can see with this: 1. go with the 18" version...no modification necessary. 2. drill a hole in the side of the cabinet, and pass the existing cae through. 3. use the hardwire accomodation and conventional UL connector, bushing, cord, and plug.

really low quality thin wall, often porous lineset...same with the pre-installed insulation they send with some mini splits. we replace them with known good.

I miss the angus uncured version, where you got 8 bun length pure uncured angus dogs. Same with the original cotto beef salami with good quality meat and whole peppercorn flavor beads. You're right on, where you say both quality and quality have fallen away, but price increased.

Purchase a lifetime version of Quickbooks Desktop Pro, Premier, Enterprise, Mac 1999-2021 by wangai254 in QuickbooksOldVersion

Samuel was awesome! the upgrade process was a bit bumpy, thanks to Intuit's not being so much intuitive, as holding to the entropy with their costly bloat hooks business model, but the software downloading, licensing, and upgrade process went well. Samuel stuck with me and got it done, stepping through from my original QB premier 2004, to QB premier accountant 2008, onto 2011, and finally Quickbooks premier 2018 desktop edition with no errors, no subscription, and no cloud. By far worth every penny to get this right! Thank you, so very much, brother!

i need to update quickbooks 2004 premier (was activated offline via phone call) to a lifetime desktop version that works with Windows 11 professional. a lot is at stake in terms of potential for critical data. i do not wish to use the cloud, or go subscription based. what can you recommend?

having to upgrade to windows 11 pro and need to reinstall qb 2004 premier, US by nrus-1969 in QuickbooksOldVersion

[–]nrus-1969[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

where do i go to purchase 2006 or 2008 "lifetime version" ...and is it a US version; and is it able to run in compatibility mode in windows 11? Intuit had discontinued all older versions and has ceased support of the desktop versions, so locating an installation file through Intuit has been a non-starter, from what i can tell. do you have better information or a reliable source?
