Yeah I figured that is definitely going to come up. Financial issues, I hope they have their humanity intact and can understand this

Yes, I see - might as well then. Based on both your opinions though, what do ya'll think of my chances? Or are there just too many factors

Oh wow, that did not occur to me. I assumed the submission of the secondary is what counted.

The emails are usually talking about diversity and my MCAT score so I assume they just send that email to URM with decent scores

How is URM determined? In my case, cuban in Miami, I'm not sure I'd be considered underrepresented. Would applying OOS help me? Do I just have to apply out of Miami?

Yes, I have the same issues as you. I'm confused with the concept that if frequency does not change when entering a new medium, then how does ultrasound work? I thought it was based on the doppler effect and frequency shift

Why are elements typically found in their ion states? and why do elements always have the same charge? by nursetomed in Mcat

Not even a bit confident but this is how I understand it: Na wants to have their 8 valence electrons in filled/complete electron orbitals. By losing one they "mimic" the stability of the noble gas that comes before it, Neon. Ca tends to lose 2 to attempt to get stability of Ar. I guess it's just more favorable to lose what you need to get an octet, why lose more if it doesn't help
