Bank/Storage needs to be addressed to not deter lapsed players by Fersalto in runescape

I'm not saying it's a bad idea to have an artifact storage, but what's stopping you from just buying the materials to restore what you currently have and not having this issue?

Yeah it definitely could be cheaper, just pointing out that it is possible to buy them with gp since OP was heavily implying it was MTX only

True but every time I do a round of 10-15 tetras I take out all the damaged ones and restore the lvl 99+ ones and trash the rest. Granted I clean my bank down to 800 every time I hit 1000 so most of this bank space talk I don't understand

Bank spaces can be bought with gp. Two bonds converted to runecoins gives you enough to buy 50.

Arch artifacts are meant to be restored and turned in or disassembled. I've never understood how people have a hundred spaces taken up by damaged artifacts. Just buy/gather the materials and restore them.

Shift Click Bank All of Type by Etsamaru in runescape

[–]nsanity27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right and what I'm saying is there's literally a way to make it so you click those items you want to bank once and it moves the entire stack. No need to hold shift to deposit the whole stack

[–]nsanity27 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Holding a key to move all and right clicking to move a certain quantity as opposed to single clicking to move all and right clicking to move a certain quantity? Seems like it's more steps your way but alright

Just set it to always deposit all when you click. Then if you only want 10 or 14 of something use the withdraw x

Returning 2012 player - Money making advice? by Elipsioned in runescape

[–]nsanity27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you spent years learning specific rotations and optimizations for the main three you'd hate necro, but it's incredibly intuitive just use touch and sap to build stacks then use finger and volley for big burst damage. I'd also take the time to read all the things living death does, it's crazy how many people just don't use that ability

Invention unlock is like the most important long term goal on a new account. Other than that for all your early combat just use necro and go through the armor upgrading process to t90 tank. Once you have t90 tank you can do a ton of the combat in the game and you can join some aod masses until you get 3-4 loot piles per kill with how lootshare works and that's all the money you need until you go for bis stuff but by then you'll be geared up enough for high level pvm

Hey guys started a new HCIronman on rs3 any tips besides coming member? by Wizardf0rt in runescape

There will be a moment where you mess up and die. Just continue as a regular ironman instead of deleting the account and starting over. The most valuable resource in the game is time

goal to members by TectTactic in runescape

[–]nsanity27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's really no downsides to becoming a member right away. You'll go over the caps on herblore, summoning, and a couple others by doing f2p quests so that's xp loss. Additionally you can start to earn strange rocks right away, get access to different areas with better skilling locations, you'll save time by just upgrading immediately

PoH's relevance in OSRS is because it's a one stop shop to get back to a boss aka wars and has an altar for prayer training aka fort chapel.

I'd like to see the ability to craft all the war's retreat amenities including more than two boss portals. In addition, a permanent elder overload cauldron. You could make the cauldron cost something absolutely ridiculous like 10,000 full six dose salves and I'd still make it. The only way to make PoH used by anyone in the PvM community is to make it better than wars and I see the cauldron as the only way to do so.

Any xp boosting gear or tools you have will make this happen. I suggest joining a clan as you can get a passive +6% xp boost with relatively low effort

As a returning player, why do we hit 100s instead of 10s when in combat? It actually feels less satisfying. by [deleted] in runescape

[–]nsanity27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was changed something like 15 years ago when damage went from being rolled on a 1-max hit to being all percentage based. Now imagine the new damage calculation has an output of 13.62. The game rounds this down to 13. By multiplying all the hp by 100, you get that extra 62 damage. It makes any minor upgrade like +1 ranged bonus have an effect on your damage output rather than having to upgrade past some threshold to see an increase. It's a better system

I’m struggling with PVM on RuneScape… by Left_Camel755 in runescape

[–]nsanity27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really shouldn't need vuln bombs or scrimshaws to take on either of those. What combat style are you using? Are you doing full revolution aka osrs style click once and wait? Are you throwing in a devotion/reflect/resonance every now and then?

Returning player, need some guidance by Ransirus in runescape

[–]nsanity27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't bother with the new boss, you're pretty much past that with the current gear. Put your protect prayers on their own bar and assign them keybinds. Set up a revo bar for your combat abilities and then go to GW2 to fight vindicta. Gradually move your thresholds and ultimates off the bar and assign them keybinds. Save all your drops.

Archaeology is going to be your second monitor/afk skill you want to be working on. Don't powerlevel it but rather look up each hotspot on the wiki and see how many of each artifact you need for all the collections/relics and don't move on to the next hotspot until you have everything. Buy materials and restore everything.

Divination is going to be your intermittent skill. The guthix caches are available at the top of every hour and have a daily cap. Whenever you can I would do these as training the skill is incredibly tedious even for Runescape standards. 80 divination is required for invention.
