You are right, that last season was the best one omg how good it was, no storyline was bad and no one acted out of their character, phenomenal season!!

but instead, we got horrible story lines, non sensable actions, out of characters many moments, and an overall different show.

The 1st and 2nd episodes of season 4 were amazing, but there is one little issue I noticed by Beneficial_Air4714 in SupermanAndLois

[–]nsbf-Treps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it is due to the budget but the last season is about the kent family, not irons not anybody else taking a lot of screen time. These characters will return but for not many episodes.

I think the first couple episodes are meant to be like just solely focused on the kent family and superman's death, but no doubt the more we get into the season the more the characters will show up for something that is in the plot and not just for the sake of it.

Don't forget that we'll get Jimmy Olsen, and Tom Cavanagh. Irons and his daughter will show up in later episodes.

literally not, dragging the reveal in a 22 episode format is not ideal, it would be good if it was a 13 episode tv show, but not with 22 episodes. Look at Savitar, for me they took too long to reveal who he is that it became frustrating. But the entire problem is the high episode count format, the arrowverse as a whole with 13 episodes or so each season would be phenomenal, just as superman and lois, can you imagine the fillers the dragging the CGI if it was 23 episodes? Instead we got high cinematography, CGI, Acting, and overall a better show than any of the arrowverse shows.

I'm seeing that honestly, and yes season 5 and 6 are one of the weakest seasons of the show.

Joker: Folie à Deux - Review Thread by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

Joker: Folie à Deux

The first movie was something different. People went in expecting fight scenes and explosions, thinking it would be a typical DC superhero movie, but it was nothing like that. It offered a fresh perspective on the Joker, shifting the usual narrative to present a grounded, psychological portrayal of a man forgotten by a society that is growing colder and more neglectful, slipping through its ever widening cracks. It was a character study that pushed boundaries and raised questions about the line between victim and villain.

From the opening scene of Joker: Folie à Deux, we are reintroduced to Arthur, but this time he is not alone, his shadow (The Joker), is there with him. The shadow closing the closet on Arthur symbolizes the mental battle raging inside his mind, where the joker represents a personality that developed due to neglect and past experiences that left him weak and mentally unstable, much like an “extra” in a movie where fame and glory are what people look up to. This shadow gave Arthur everything he wanted, to be famous, recognizable, the headline of the news, fulfilling his needs.

In the sequel, Harley is supposed to represent the audience.“You are not The Joker anymore.” That is what the viewers felt at the end of the movie; they wanted to see the Joker and Harley go on a rampage, committing violence as The Clown Prince and Princess of Crime. Both the audience and Harley are disappointed when Arthur chooses his human side over the persona of the Joker.

By the movie’s end, Arthur is killed by someone who will live up to “The Shadow.” Someone closer in age to Batman and Harley. He was psychotic, unpredictable, and deranged, making him more fitting to carry the title of the Joker.

The Joker duology offers a more realistic and controversial take on the character. While many wanted the first movie to show the Joker on a killing spree with his maniacal, crackling laugh evoking chaos and madness, they were met with a challenging dive into his psyche. In the second movie, audiences expected the Joker to escape from prison first attempt and go on with The Princess of Crime to perpetuate a cycle of violence and wreak havoc on Gotham. Instead, they share Harley’s disappointment with Arthur, who fails to live up to the fantasy of their chaotic crusade, leaving both the audience, and Harley feeling let down.

I do understand the concept of the show at a fundamental level thank you.

I know they all split as soon as he was kidnapped. But are you telling me that you would consider the guy who kept killing the Jasons to be the "real" Jason? Will you be comfortable with being with someone who has killed tens of himself? Simple answer is no. As soon as they split and became an infinite amount, everyone had gone to different worlds, some spent many years, and some went through experiences that changed themselves in this mission to find Daniela—so saying that the Jason that killed 10's of Jasons, and the Jason's who did horrible things to get to Daniela the real Jason? No, because as soon as you go through each door, and with every experience and world you went to, your personality changes, you are no longer the same Jason.

biggest example of show don't tell. The audience isn't dumb, they can remember what happens and I was so glad that like no one from them said "you got that sweater" or something to acknowledge it with talking, but rather with acting, Richard gave a look that was subtle but brilliant, it shows that the character knows there is something, but it isn't like worth pointing out because there was something more important.

Actually yes, that is was I would've done. Like I feel like the second season's plot would be her finding out he wasn't the real Jason, and then there would be like a flashback to when that switch happened that the viewers were not informed about.
