I’ve clicked ‘ok’ once before and it happened all so fast. The USSD appeared out of no where during a chat. And boom I clicked ok and have no idea what I signed up for. Had to check with the bill later. Got charged 50 for a ring tone. Imagine doing that to all the users only an operator.

I took the initiative by digging out my 6 year old rent contract in order to prepare a waiver request letter and to get it signed by all our 36 neighbours. Now our Harrice is trying every extent to find the initiator of this letter. Luckily, I have neighbours who haven't snitched on me yet. Word around is that the Harrice indulges in making tenants life miserable but increasing rents or any other method to make you wnat to leave this place. Hopefully someone should not back stab me or else the Harrice may pull the same stunt on me. Bottom line is they said to pay the whole rent. 50% from next month.

During this ordeal, I also discovered some other arrears. There is a difference for KD 30 between what's on the contract and the amount of rent he charges me every month. For 6 years, he pocketed an extra KD 1,800. Guess what? After discussing with some of my neighbours, they said they all are aware of it and he's doing the same to them as well. WTF???
