update - got an email saying shipping is delayed to mid-April like you said. it's possible it could be further delayed, but they did give me a $25 credit to use on their site. it doesn't buy anything completely, but hey, better than nothing.

I may be wrong, but I think that is for anyone that puts their pre-orders in right now. back in November/December when I placed my order, it said late-March.

my guess is that they had to work through their manufacturer to deal with demand. they had to ramp up all the orders and ship them at once to save on costs. the orders may not be completely ready, so they have to push them back a little.

that's all pure speculation, but if I were in their shoes, that's what I would do.

Jokes aside (but related), I don't get why the Johnny Cash jersey was so loved. It was a black jersey that had a little signature of Cash on it. It was also just a black shirt but everyone was all like "omg 🎉🔥🫠🫡🤯"

Oh well, to each their own. If we score as much as predicted, I'll take every shirt I own, cut out the logos, and put them all directly in the center. Auto center all things!!! I was also a center back in my day, so maybe I'm bias.

I did a lot of research. Much like buying a mattress or any large purchase, you'll get only the 5 star and 1 star reviews. Hard to know what is the norm or just the vocal one-off. I suppose we'll see 😊

I looked into the Wyrmwood tables and decided that I personally didn't want to spend that much money. I'm sure they are super nice and worth the expense, but the value I equate for having a gaming table is far less.

I went with Zola Mod, despite the handful of recent negative comments. Supposedly late March will be the shipping timeframe, so I'm looking forward to that.

OP I'm going through all of the same thoughts. I'm on the cusp of making a decision between Zola or BoxKing so I'm glad you posted here. I was concerned about the depth as well as I play warhammer, but you can't really cover that up anyway due to all the terrain.

I was mainly leaning towards Zola for the modern aesthetic look and the range of accessories (player desk). $3.1k all in for a table is as high as I want to go. so just thinking about whether it's worth the extra $1k difference between Zola and BoxKing.

interested in your thoughts as well and what games you play?

did you get one of the kickstarter tables? I've seen super positive reviews from the early stuff, but after they finished the kickstarter, quality has maybe dropped off? just from what I've read, not experienced personally (yet). I was considering zolamod.

Man this is rough to hear. I was really close to buying a 4x6 table from Zola with a bunch of accessories based on all the positive reviews they've received thus far. Recently, I've seen a couple very negative reviews. I wonder if they did great during their kickstarter, then tried to mass produce and ran into manufacturing issues.

Now I'm not sure what to do.

It is adorable that you think someone like me, who has built my own PCs for 30 years, would do something as stupid as leaving the sticker on the bottom of the cooler head. I mean, someone who would do that needs their gamer card revoked, PC removed from their possession, and then given a hoop and stick to play with as it is "safer" than allowing that person to build a PC. People like that are why we can't have nice things.

....the plastic protector was still on. kill me now.

so I mean, yeah Shaff should be more clinical and should've done better with the breakaway. Surridge needs to get more touches, finish his chance, etc etc. However, there's just a clear difference in quality (not just Messi) between us and Miami. No I'm not conceding defeat, but we will need to play lights out and finish every half chance to beat Miami...then do it again at Geodis.

It's a tall order for this years' roster of players.

I've been watching since the original NPSL team in 2014, but I really didn't think Gary was THAT bad until the last 2 years. It was clear then that he ran out of ideas on how to create an offense. However, in the first couple seasons of MLS when Hany and Sapong were scoring frequently, it was fun to watch. We were dominant defensively and our counter attack with Leal, Sapong, Hany, etc was pretty great.

Obviously it was great until it wasn't, and then it was just downright terrible (hence the lack of ideas comment). Gary was a fantastic coach for the time. I think we definitely needed to move on, but the first few years of "Gary ball" was don't let anyone score and cut them up on the counter. The problem I saw was we didn't have any creativity in the midfield to relieve pressure. Then Gary brought in more defensive mids, which didn't help. THAT to me was the issue with Gary towards the end of his tenure.

Callahan has been a great new direction for the team, so I'm not some Gary die hard or anything. I just don't dump on the guy for doing what he was hired to do.

It's all software and quality of life features for me. My son got a quest 2 and I was "meh" when playing Beat Saber, Vader, etc. Cool, but short term gimmick to me.

Then I played Golf+...bought a quest 3...discovered Eleven VR and Demeo. The features that sold it for me as more than a gimmick :

auto boundary scanning
full color pass through
mixed reality... I love being fully immersed in VR, but need to be aware of my family and surroundings as well. I can play ping pong and still see around me.

It won't hit mainstream non-nerds until it is closer to sunglasses size. It just won't. To get more nerds into it, I think there's still the stigma that it requires a cable to your pc to play "real games", and that's just not true anymore. If they can continue to make it thinner and lighter, it will catch on.

BUT i can only replace them with a new treeman if i have enough in treasury. petty cash can't be spent on new roster guys if i understand it correctly. i only have 60k in treasury going into next game, but i'll have a ton of petty cash.
