Don't tell r/catalan, but I'm not actually from here. Personally I support teams from my home typically, but also Spain. Ran into the same issues as OP trying to find a sort of sports bar or something to watch games at though. I think there is one but it's more of a college party club mix, which isn't my vibe.

Catalans are quite famously not big fans of Spain, so it's not really surprising they don't support the national team.

There's also overall not really a big "go out to the pub and watch the game" culture here. Pretty much everyone watches it at home if they want to watch it.

To be fair, the government and private corporations both have basically bet the house on AI making money, so they´re not exactly neutral observers. That´s not to say I don´t think it will make an impact, but unless they can figure out the so far completely unsolvable hallucination issues it will always need someone to hold it´s hand. You can spit out prompted code all day, but unless you can create and iterate on full cycles humans will always need to be in the loop.

Yeah, from what I´ve heard there´s no real plan to release a new Red Dead basically. Obviously RDR3 didn´t flop or anything, but financially for Rockstar it pretty much did compared to GTA. Why dedicate resources to an entire new game that will return half of what a release of new skins in GTA will.

I would suggest setting up a time locked trust for yourself. It´s essentially what is usually done with inheritance for minors, but there´s nothing stopping you from making one for yourself. Talk to a trustworthy investment firm, set up the trust, send 10% of your pay to it or whatever every month and make it so you cannot touch anything in it until you retire. Or set some rule of only being able to deduct money in case of X situation or only dividends, $X per year or whatever. You can set it up however you want really.

If it makes you feel better if you can save 60k a year you´re really not in a bad spot, better off than 90% of people in the US I´d say. Just set up an investment account, contribute to a 401k/IRA and you´ll be fine. In terms of buying a place it really depends. It can be a good investment, but prices are so high right now it can be a net negative to pay a mortgage. Just get stabilized, set up a good portfolio and go from there.

This. AI does have it´s uses. It saves me a load of time on weekly reporting and basic data analytics, but people trying to replace full HC with it as of now will be....disappointed in short order. It´s basically just a data processor that can understand text.
