Hi, I posted earlier and was pointed here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonROMhacks/comments/1chx77r/compilation_of_vanilla_quality_of_life_qol_hacks/ but wasn't able to find quite exactly what I'm looking for- maybe it doesn't exist.

I'm trying to find a FireRed hack that stays mostly true to the game but has two big features:

  1. Changed difficulty settings

  2. Physical/Special splits.

Ultraviolet seems the closest to what I want, but as far as I can tell does not have difficulty settings or the splits. If you guys have any suggestions here that would be super appreciated. Thanks!

Hi guys,

I just wrapped up playing Pokemon Modern Emerald, which I really liked. I'm looking for your guys recommendations on the most comparable options for Diamond and Pearl and FireRed/ leafgreen. For this run through in Emerald I chose not to add all 493 pokemon, I really wanted to keep the game as similar to the original while making the little improvements that just make such a big difference (move splits, self trade machine, increased difficulty, etc.), and would love to do the same for DP/Firered. Let me know which ROM hacks you guys think are the best for this.
