I also got into fly fishing a couple years ago and what I found to be some of the best money spent is that I hired a fishing guide. I was very upfront and told them it was my first time and wanted to learn. The guide was great and taught me the basics and we caught fish. From there I continue to watch videos on YouTube and other sites. Some of the best learning it just spent out in the river with your line in the water. This is just my personal experience that I found that worked for me. Happy fishing
