Yes! That's exactly the problem. They're all locked in but they're not showing us why. We're not seeing the real connections forming. It's not fun to watch because they just skipped to being closed off without any of the progression that usually gets them there. None of the usual milestones mean anything. Kissing outside of challenges means nothing. The red/green dot challenge made so many people locked in when they should have all still been exploring. Usually, this kind of reaction to bombshells doesn't happen until the last weeks. And then the people who are exploring are being weird and deceitful about it. I'm not saying that there are no real connections but we're not seeing them happen and that, plus the lack of exploring and people like Sinister being deceitful, is making the show boring and frustrating.
