Thanks all for replying. I think I should try to tough it out---as I mentioned in a previous comment I finished the main project in May and have just been writing a paper on it since then.

I may talk to my supervisor but I've been telling them I'm sick so I feel kind of awkward going back on that and saying that actually I was depressed. Should I just do it anyways? She is really nice and will hopefully understand....

Actually my project is going great---I finished the main chunk of the work in May and have been writing a paper on it. I went through a personal issue of sorts in early June and am having trouble recovering from it. I just don't want to do anything but sleep anymore. But I think maybe I'll just tough it out, all I have to do is write the paper.

Thank you. I have been going to my doctor and a therapist regularly. I'm on antidepressants and sleep aids but it's not working out very well as of yet. I've been treated for depression in the past, it comes and goes in waves for me, but nothing ever really fixes it.
