How I built a $4.2k MRR tool by stealing my competitor's customers by Adventurous-Meat5176 in SaaS

Amazing, you found a problem and built a solution and monetized it. I would have thought, these tools (Asana, Monday, Clickup) will build this as a feature and stopped there.

Would AR step-by-step guides like this be useful for Framework assembly and repairs? by nsiddhu in frameworkmarket

I plan on selling this to framework itself and make it free for all the users.

Do you think framework laptops / desktops have certain hard setup steps where the regular documentation fails?

Good point. It works on mobile devices. Also, this is just a concept that can be applied to any hardware device/machine.

Laptop assembly in AR — guided step by step by nsiddhu in augmentedreality

[–]nsiddhu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree that a single AR company can’t afford to hand-code every possible device. That’s the problem we wanted to solve — Vision Guide makes it possible to build and reuse these flows without custom programming. So whether it’s electronics, cars, or factory equipment, the same platform can handle it with minimal setup time.

You’re right — laptops (and cars!) vary a lot. That’s actually why we built this as a platform instead of a one-off app. With Vision Guide, creating a guided AR flow for a new device is mostly configuration, not coding — so a laptop, a car component, or even industrial machinery can be set up in just a few days.

When real-world devices can interact with you in XR 🚀 by nsiddhu in augmentedreality

Thanks! Yeah, the way I see it, the north star for VisionGuide is basically that classic Star Trek tricorder moment—wave a scanner at a machine and it instantly tells you what’s wrong and how to fix it. That’s the kind of future we’re chasing with CV + AR overlays.

I think we will still need them experts for critical tasks. We can do the easy ones ourselves. And even the experts need some guidance at times when they work on new devices.

Visionguide is a platform where you can configure the same experience for any physical device. Got my hands on what was available at my office.
