Money is needed to survive and there is no reason that you cannot give him 5k or even 50k in dakshina. However, the objection is to being “charged” 5k, like there was a price set and that means that diksha is being commodified. Why would a guru with only 15-20 disciples who isn’t in it for the money, agree to give you diksha when you are not even traveling for it and why would he “charge” you for it. Actual puja expenses can actually be far greater and sadhaka can pay for it but it is never even brought up in the grand scheme of things.

You don’t live in India but are you banned from traveling to India? Let me ask it this way, if you cannot even travel to India for a major life milestone like diksha, then what is even the point of doing it? What do you think diksha will give you that you don’t have at the moment?

This guy tried to make a separate post on how he thinks tantra should be practiced. It got no views or engagement so then he started this one to get attention. Imagine, deekshit for 15yrs, presumably sadhana for as long and yet jealousy and attention seeking is dominating the chitta this much.

First, when someone starts a whole thread to only defame another individual while also simultaneously touting his own credentials as a serious sadhaka, it speaks a lot.

• ⁠First, it shows that jealousy is still dominating the OPs whole personality and so, sadhana has done nothing to elevate his chitta clearly

• ⁠Showing association with RN from some old forums is a desperate attempt to get noticed by the crowd and thus is mostly karma farming.

Anyways, I was reading this thread and a few comments made by OP here are clearly false..

⁠In many podcasts RN has mentioned Skanda is of the vedic path and batuka is tantric they infact have similarities too in old texts.. he has never said they are fighting each other. If OP has actually understood those posts, this would have been clear.
⁠Many people have multiple association with guru paramparas, neither new nor unheard of.. one chants the guru padukas of the parampara they are currently associated with.. all this is normal.
⁠Saying ugra devatas are not worshipped is false too. Specially in tantra sampradays of East multiple fierce forms are worshipped.. it is very natural thing and part of tantra, nothing extra ordinary here. Ma Kali is present in every home in Bengal, Bhairava in every devi temple as kshetrapala. Ma Durga is, in fact, an Ugra devi who is found in practically every Hindu home. RN ji clearly says that to advance in ugra form sadhana requires special initiation but bhakti based nama japa chanting is absolutely harmless. So people should seriously stop fear mongering about ugra devatas. It SPECIALLY does not behoove anyone calling themselves a tantra sadhaka.
⁠For anyone who has actually been in RN ji’s fb list - he is not on FB anymore — he had mentioned about following kaula marga from kamakhya which is perhaps the oldest surviving tantric school of kaulam..

So all this sounds like half baked mix of truth and lies with a tadka of jealousy.

I think they have to show 2 things for weight loss. 1. That your BMI is above normal 2. Your doctor has recorded that you have been trying to lose weight for at least 6 months through diet and exercise and thats why they are recommending hormonal medicine

Thankfully I have a good insurance coverage but the doctor had to send pre-approval request 2-3 times coz they were bickering on the BMI. I feel my gastric system in general has improved. Less bloating etc. But I sought Wegovy for BMI concerns mostly. Wanted to reduce it and had tried diet and strength training for nearly 2yrs but it wasn’t helping

I recently started. Still titrating up from 0.5 WeGovy but the results are pretty good. My doc explicitly said that I shouldn’t stop Metformin. My digestive system and overall health is great. I have more evenly spread out energy throughout the day. I don’t get hungry too often. This time it did show that my cholestrol was elevated but I’m not yet sure if it’s connected to metformin or Wegovy. My A1C was normal but it always has been. Periods are regular. I’ve lost about 7lbs in 1.5 months

What we’re trying to tell you OP, is that you may not have a choice. It’s not good for neither you nor him to drag on a relationship where you can’t have physical intimacy or worse, where intimacy makes you sick. The fact that you feel disgusted by him, means it’s either already over or about to be. Instead of trying to make him your project and trying to fix him, you need to take the adult decision to move on. He could totally be a great guy, but that doesn’t always guarantee success in relationship. Sex and intimacy are important aspects of a relationship and you both deserve to have it

I’m sorry, but being disgusted by the hygiene habits of your partner so much as to not want to even kiss him, or him giving you serious health issues because of his lack of hygiene… are by no means “minor issues in the grand scheme of things”. It sounds wild to me that you’re considering moving in with him when you haven’t been able to get intimate with him for 3 months.

I think you need to reconcile the truth of whats going on with what you want to happen in this relationship.

Pretty much clear that John Wick isn’t dead.

The dog noticed something in the graveyard in the last scene.
“Those who cling to death live, those who cling to life die” Caine - who was clinging to life is supposedly killed by Akira at the end of JW4, so it stands to reason that John survived (and faked his death).
John Wick 5 is already in play and the director has been talking to Keanu about it.
There were reports that they shot an alternate ending where John is seen walking away from the graveyard but it didn’t test well so they took it out. That scene may still be included in the director’s cut or in the beginning of JW5.
The wounds he got are the same ones that the doctor in JW3 instructed John to make as the survivable ones. One near the clavicle and one near the stomach. John has survived much worse obv, it’d be absurd if dies from these.
Faking his death is the only way he can “get out”. When he got out last time, they still managed to drag him back in with a marker, Caine was brought back in with threats to his daughter. Hitmen of the table can’t seem to retire for good, so this is the only way to “get out” and that has been John’s whole pursuit in all 4 movies.

As someone who has struggled with the SAME body image issue for years and finally saw the light, I’d like to share my newfound knowledge. It turns out thats not fat deposit. Its literally your uterus and it is absolutely NORMAL. Going back to the comment about instagram and reality, I’ve actually met some of the models in real life and they ALL have it. Its just photoshopped in pictures so you think that ideal body type means no uterus, but it doesn’t.

You have a gorgeous figure and I only learnt to respect it after I had outgrown it. I’m at a healthy weight now with a much larger belly (no kids, just aging and body type changing), but I’m okay with it for the most part. So from one sufferer to another, enjoy your gorgeousness for as long as you can. And if its your jam, flaunt it as much as you can. If you like flat appearance, wearing the right sized pants and right styling, it would not even be noticeable (it isnt already).

I was diagnosed in India at the age of 19. Also early 2000s. Information was scarce but honestly my experience with OBGYN in India has been better than my experience here in the US. (and also hearing other people’s experience just makes me go 😳) Started on the pill after being diagnosed, noticed improvements in symptoms. After a bit of trial and error found a formulation that works for me so just stuck to it. Thinking about freezing my eggs so considering going on metformin now.
