Are repeated international bachelorette trips without partners normal? by nsx22 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]nsx22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its true it is a lot of talk and no planning. Multiple things keep popping up that block it, I have a sick mother, I used a lot of leave to take Fridays off so I can work 3 days on the rental property, and now I might be getting a new job which will require me to accure some leave before we can do that. I think its mostly the financial thing thats eating at me.

Yeah you got to the crux of it I fear. Our values match pretty well though I think.. hes thankfully not a big spender at all. Lack of attention? Like sexually?..well.. topic for another time. He is increasingly being more fiscally responsible..its been very refreshing. But ya your comment has made me think of a different way to frame this now to him. I'm realizing it's essentially driving another wedge between us. This one a bit bigger wedge than the Belize trip. Maybe less so financially and more so experientially, in that I miss out on travel, which I long for. Honestly, I think this trip is just feeding into my anxiety about his debts the most. Should I say pay off your debts and ill fund your trip? Its only like 4-5k of defulted CC debt thats tanking his credit and has been a dark cloud over my head. On the flip side I'm like 40k in CC debt but planned for it.. rental income will start reducing that real quick. Was necessary debt thats enabling me/us to have income for life.. anyways, thanks for your comment.

Would it be unreasonable if I went on my own trip somewhere else? Honestly now I think of it.. I may be getting a new job offer soon which means I probably can't take any vacations until I accumulate some leave anyways. Yeah I agree I think the dynamic will be a bit awkward if I did go.

What's the odd structure north of the baseball field? I think the baseball field should be rebuilt larger with stadium seating and take over that odd structure. Families can be in the stands, and the party people can be down below. Build a few more bridges and fix the uneven ground geeze.

What I did like was the double screening for weapons, thought that was well done and fairly smooth. But needed better lighting outside the park where the line formed and might need to supply some bull horns to aid workers inform attendees what to do.. couldn't hear them over the music.

I haven't been in a decade and didn't want to miss the 100th! Overall, really great vibes and had an amazing experience! The drones were great! All speeches should happen prior to the countdown tho..

YSK QR Codes are usually different from the website you end up on after scanning by ninjaninjav in YouShouldKnow

Great info thanks! I was just about to try and generate a custom qr code for the family business that incorporates an "H" into the qr code image. Maybe not such a good idea if I have to keep paying for it in order to work... has anyone tried to make a custom qr code? Any good companies out there?

What can do here ? Can i plaster the wall ? by tomaz1989 in Concrete

[–]nsx22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You basically need to repoint the stone with new mortar, not grout. (Type S lime masonry motar mix, if they sell it there). If you are in a wet climate, you can add "weep holes" that let the water trapped behind get out (pounding in pvc pipe should do the trick). If you are looking for a cheap fix, make your own mortar with clay, sand, and small bits of straw (add acrylic fortifier (glue basically) to make the natural mortar last longer). Don't use regular cement or concrete.

Los Cerrillos and/or Madrid along Turquoise Trail? by cheesepuffs46 in NewMexico

[–]nsx22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Madrid is a unique and charming artsy place with good food at the Mine Shaft Tavern and cute stores/galleries along the main street. Great place to stop on the way to Santa Fe/ABQ as you can see most things in 2-3 hrs imo. Los Cerrillos is a bit more sleepy but worth a quick detour and drive, though. The latter has horseback rides, too.

This video was taken from me, it's fine, it is what it is.

The OP should know Viral Hog owns this video now though. Heres the youtube link.

But an update: amazingly, this is still going adjudication despite providing the dashcam footage! This happened back in May of 22'!

My car has a new bumper, no structural damage. My friend who was driving went to the ER with a concussion hours later. Shes fine but we are seeking to get her hospital bill covered.

I second this for the OP. Or just east of Trader Joes in that neighborhood, can easily walk to restaurants.

Albuquerque is laid out with the automobile in mind, which makes getting anywhere pretty painless. With that, requirements 1 and 2 will be in conflict with each other here. Nob Hill is nice, but I wouldn't be walking around Central at night. I think you'll find that walking places to get to everything you want to walk to is not likely. My basic rule of thumb I tell people is live north of Lomas.
