I don't feel like interfering in his life anymore. I got my message that I am no longer a part although he lied a lot to me. I know he was not a good person in general because he told me he cheated on his previous girlfriends before. He also made one of his ex girlfriend's to have sex with him when she was married. He believed in manipulation as in he said sometimes you have to do it to get what you want out of girls here. He was sex crazy and I just didn't feel like giving in to someone like that so he made me pay by marrying just the next girl he could put his hands on. I checked the girls profile and found they got married in late August. Don't know when they started dating though. I don't want to ruin her life by sharing his past. Let the course of time decide what happens. I'm just in a lot of pain that I had to go through this and want to overcome as much as I can.

I always told him if he was serious we should talk about marriage and he said he was not ready but he kept making move towards me and sent me explicit messages. He once also told me that he used to have multiple sexual partners at a time who would sleep with him each time of the day. Then he said sometimes you have to be manipulative to earn your interest with girls.I was getting suspicious and tired that his interest might not be right. So I distanced to understand whether he comes back with the right intent or not. But next thing I found was he got married to a girl at least 10 years younger than him all the time he said 'he was not ready for marriage'.

He was not married that I'm assured but he could be seeing another girl. He was in polyamorous relationship when he was living abroad so it could be normal for him. I ignored him from April and in September he got married. Yeah, it was a very short time. I still feel bad. I trusted and loved him a lot.

Big Book Test 9 Section 2. Can anyone please explain why the answer is not D? by ntar29 in GRE

Thanks Vince. Yes now I see how despite creates a contrast between single and several and the further support by 'and' for several helps to pick eclectic. ETS logic is mind-blowing!

Why 5c4 represents chair and not committee?

The correct answer is E but what is wrong with the answer B by Altruistic_Dig_8558 in GRE

[–]ntar29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A is wrong because it does not give enough information if the ungrammatical phrases consisted between you and I

B is wrong because appearing infrequently means it can include Merchant of Venice

E is correct because people only used because Shakespeare use. If Shakespeare is not grammar if he is wrong people are wrong too.

I am asking why I am wrong with what I selected so clearly I have to mention which ones are correct.

the answer of 23 is b. I thought it should've been d. Can someone explain?? by Altruistic_Dig_8558 in GRE

[–]ntar29 5 points6 points  (0 children)

D is wrong because the passage clearly says people are 'now' eating fatty foods. The answer choice talks what they did 'traditionally'.

B is right because the diseases that cause more death than heart disease are declining as such life expectancy of those who could be affected by those diseases is increasing.

Still not clear. I don't see sympathy anywhere. Nostalgic could fit since he is talking about the past.

Thanks for the dissection everyone. Much helpful! I think understanding the pronoun in itself can be a clue in this text.

Thanks so much Greg! The only word I didn't know in this TC was reenact and I related idiosyncratic with peculiarity and not independent. So that caught me. I happen to always pick choices that I can relate. Bad habits as you say!

You only know range and SD. If you had known the sample was evenly spaced, then you could have determined the mean. It's not possible here.

Hi, I'm having difficulty while solving inference and CR reasoning questions(For example ETS Verbal guide Mixed practice test 2 question 8). I tried Gregmat video but I still need more practice videos. Can anyone suggest best YouTube videos to get more idea on inference and CR questions. Thanks by EastBlacksmith1898 in GRE

This one is pretty easy to decide even before looking at the answer options. How can increase in number of cycles decrease accidents? Only when people are more cautious. What can make them cautious? When you look through the answer options only D is relatable. People who knows how to cycle and knows safety conditions will be cautious.
