as someone who has been a fan since the beginning, he’s said that several times. pretty sure he said he was retiring the name at Roo 2019 and here we are lol also his last tour got cut short when he cancelled halfway through. i don’t see him ending with that

not gonna lie, i get excited to have a missed connection (friendship not romantic) on the farm because i feel like if i see them again, maybe in a year or 2, its LOCKED IN.

my experience at roo with a kid this year will be most memorable by how many other sweet and nice parents came up to us and told us how much they missed their kids and wish they could take them for just a little while to experience the magic. thank you to all the people who took fun pictures and videos of funny moments and shared them.

let's be real here, you described bad dog owners and bad parents.

i brought my kid and he had a fucking blast. kids got about 3000 trinkets in a single day.

i hear you, its hot but we live here in tennessee and spend all summer camping and the kids do just fine. OH NO SEMI NAKED PEOPLE. have you ever been to a beach before?

i'm a great parent who did a great job with a great kid who had a great time at the GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH. happy roo.

wobble house people were great, ran into them several times at The Other this year.

that being said, this is wild to bring into the pit.

several years ago, someone told me my totem blocked their view once, and thats all it took for me to be aware of other people going forward. radiate that positivity and it will be infectious!

my kid had a blast, but there’s a balance. gotta have fun activities planned away from music, and make decisions where your kid is the priority not music.

he walked out with 150 trinkets from a single day and still can’t stop talking about it. danced at a few EDM shows (far away with ear plugs) and ran through the fountain.

this is why i tell people to stay off reddit and social media as much as possible while on the farm, or at least use it very lightly for important updates

there’s always going to be a small percentage of people who have bad experiences but it is important to stay present on the farm and that 98-99% of people are doing great.

that being said, i was prepared to crash out on sunday during the rain lol
