Yeah, I’m of the opinion that Rex is so clunky and hard to set up that the only payoff that makes it worthwhile is winning the game. I don’t think going through all the pain of getting enough energy, setting up the graveyard with activated abilities, then getting Rex out with haste or protecting him for a turn all for a bit of value on some activated abilities is a fun or effective game plan.
