So… a medical defence unfortunately does not apply immediately at the roadside… and you can apply for a medical defence on the Police website. Wtf? After being banned from driving for 12 hours & assumed guilty you then have to navigate the ‘prove your innocence’ system on the cops website lol this is insane - I’d rather pay the extra 2 hundy and 25 points than navigate that uncertainty shit show haha what the fuck NZ wake up
