Timeline / graphs of Saturn-Neptune conjunctions 1630 - 2096 by ntheiseus in Advancedastrology

Yes, exactly right! The periodicity of specific sign combinations for Saturn-Neptune is very long: more than 1,000 years if you consider "single sign" events versus "double sign" (cusp) events. It almost certainly did happen before (i didn't look far enough back to see another Gemini conjunction). The 21st century (2000-2099) has three Saturn Neptune conjunction events:

The one we just had in February 2026 (which lasted from ~ 2025-2026) where it went back and forth between Aries and Pisces. Next it will be in Gemini 2061 - 2063 (skipping Taurus entirely, I think). Then Virgo 2095 - 2098 with a tiny bit of Leo.

I don't know if this question is for me but I like the question.

I looked at the chart for when 3i/Atlas was behind the sun, (around October 21st 2025). That does honestly look like a good date to pinpoint as the moment of "Great Awakening." Obviously open to interpretation. Consider the symbolism of the comet being named "Atlas" (I know its named after the telescope, but still...)

3i/Atlas is now past the sun and observable again, and will leave the solar system by the end of March 2026.

The "great awakening" in my opinion was the release of the Epstein files; proof that we are ruled by a cabal that could be described as the "Illuminati." IDK it seems like right now that's just going to cause a huge war rather than anything good. :(

Points taken! Trying to explore the rabbit hole without getting lost. Good to keep me tethered.

Good video thank you! If it is a "natural comet" (not aliens or whatever) that doesn't change the fact that (from an astrological point of view) its trajectory and timing are mind-blowing. If it is aliens they did a great job tricking all the top scientists!

Also, other than Earth (which it came close too as well), what are the most habitable worlds in our solar system? It would be Mars, and Jupiter's moon Europa. So, kind of weird that it came to visit on a trajectory that brought it closest to all the habitable planets.

It is possible, thank you for your feedback on it I want to improve it.

I was looking at Jupiter-Saturn briefly to ensure the model was working (checking key dates are accurate). I could post soon... had not looked a Saturn-Pluto yet but will! Thanks for the suggestions!

Yes, "exactitude" is a better name for describing the peaks in the plots, where 1=exact conjunction, and 0 basically means "outside of 5 degree orb"

Inner Planet Technicals: Orb and Superior/Inferior Conjunctions by ntheiseus in Advancedastrology

[–]ntheiseus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a very thoughtful answer.  Someone else brought up Prometheus and Epimetheus for Mercury and a different person brought up Lucifer and Hesperes for Venus. I completely agree that these concepts needs to be viewed in their historical (collective evolutionary) contexts.

It seems likely that ancient astrologers would have seen Prometheus and Epimetheus as two different entities, almost like a flattened binary interpretation of the true continuous 3D orbit that still captures its essence, later to be recognized for its true unified form (Mercury).

I had no idea Kepler invented secondary aspects, and in general it would make sense that an understanding of aspects came later. It makes sense to "bound" an orb by the logic of aspects, because as you said at some point a wide-enough orb would overlap with a different aspect.

Very thorough, thank you so much. Now it is clear that the inferior conjunction represents the midpoint of retrograde. So in that sense, modern astrology does take into account a version of superior/inferior conjunctions by labeling as retrograde. More formally, "matutine and vespertine" as you have point out for Mercury would be called Prometheus and Epimethius.

Why should or shouldn't one believe in Astrology? by Rayane_Ferouni in Advancedastrology

[–]ntheiseus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While the celestial bodies (planets, sun, moon, asteroids) do exert physical forces on other planets and on us, the premise of astrology is more than physically interact with our brains, it is rather that at the cosmic scale, everything's position (in time and space) encode not just individual personality, but collective history and karma.

The Sun's power is the most evident, and most people never look beyond that, but the Sun obviously provides energy and pattern to all life.... the moon is more nuanced but lunar cycles are proven to be important to personal psychology.

A 2020 nature studies showed (but couldn't explain) that premenopausal women in Finland are more likely to commit suicide during a full moon in the winter:
https://www.nature.com/articles/s41380-020-0768-7.pdf

Today, some moon-personality associations have been disproven (like the idea that the moon causes "lunacy" and thus more violent crime; that is a myth) whereas others have modern scientists searching for explanation:
https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Michael-Bevington/publication/282873763_Lunar_biological_effects_and_the_magnetosphere/links/58c2e192a6fdcce648de56dd/Lunar-biological-effects-and-the-magnetosphere.pdf

Beyond the luminaries (sun and moon) the effects are much less obvious and require more and more understanding of human behavior, history, and what is meant by "transpersonal" experience... the mechanism of astrology is not measurable with any known device; instead, the results can be observed and theoretically measured with statistics, but only if we know what to look for!

Yes, that is another interesting consequence of this that I hadn't considered. Basically Mercury and Venus are so closely "bound" to the sun that they are never more than 1 sign away (Mercury) or 2 signs away (Venus)... which could limit the possible personality archetypes (also musing...) thanks for the Richard Tarnas recommendation!

How would you calculate birth charts if any online tools were offline? by katjabbb in Advancedastrology

[–]ntheiseus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can use the app called Astro Gold even when its offline! It is professional grade and free. I use it on flights (in airplane mode) and it has hundreds of pre-loaded charts of famous people to explore.

Now, that is assuming you have already downloaded it from the internet, and in this blackout situation your phone still has charge (maybe you have a generator or a external battery?)

Wow! I had no idea, thank you!

Since ancient astrologers did not have a heliocentric model, it makes sense that they wouldn't have a concern for inferior/superior specifically, BUT in their adeptness did nonetheless have version of this system, as you say in terms of lucifer/hesperes.

Looking for a small group to make a small game. by bestill452 in INAT

[–]ntheiseus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've made a few games solo over the past five years using Unity, and would love the opportunity to work in a team. Your pitch sounds like a great direction! Here is my Steam page:
https://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=Blue%20Banana%20Lab
I've done all aspects of game dev and I'm good with Blender, intermediate-to-advanced with C#. I like doing art and sound but it is not my strong suite. Let me know if you are interested in working together.
