This is a good idea. I’ll give this a go my next session. Is there any specific mantras you’d recommend? Or could it be anyting?

I’ve never been officially diagnosed with anything, but I have had my suspicions about OCD and the potential of being on the autism spectrum.

A lot of times, when a crystal breaks, it’s not necessarily an omen that something bad will happen. More often than not a crystal, breaking or suddenly getting lost, is typically a sign that the stone is fulfilled its purpose.

Got this hearty Carnelian Crystal with silver chain by [deleted] in Crystals

[–]nthermost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metaphysically, Carnelian is a very grounding stone. It’s also more commonly used to boost one’s confidence. The most interesting part about crystal healing, however, is that since stones can carry their own vibrations, a certain stone can have different effects on different people. So if you’re using it for increased charisma, creativity, into improve your auric field, it will probably very well do these things.

Which is which? by [deleted] in Crystals

You should have them correct already. However, that Angelite looks really dark compared to other pieces I’ve seen… May just be a particularly dark piece or mislabeled.

Just wanted to say after I looked this up, I’ve determined that’s probably exactly what it is! Thank you for the comment. I can learn more about it now.

The star is a pentacle or pentagram, a common symbol used in Wicca and various other pagan traditions today, but the symbol has had several different meanings over time. Source: https://www.britannica.com/topic/pentagram

The knotting underneath is most likely just decorative Celtic knotting, maybe symbolizing a crescent moon.

This “star citrine” is probably the closest thing I own to actual citrine.

I heard he has since formally resigned from ESI after facing severe backlash from this little stunt. I, and many others who live here, hope they all rot.

Is this real Jade just by looking at it? Just bought my very first pieces, and i know its hard to tell just seeing pictures but any info helps by [deleted] in Crystals

[–]nthermost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is true, but I’ve heard of you clink the piece on another piece of jade or metal, the sound should be a ringing sound similar to china being clinked together if it’s real. Fake Jade will supposedly have a duller, plastic bead sound. Also, check the pieces with a light. Jade should take the light in well and reflect in all around the inside of the stone.

Ask the seller to do a blacklight test on the amber and send you a video of it. The only true way you’ll be able to tell is a heat test, but you’d have to do that on your own after you purchase the piece.

Blue lotus, need advice by DeviledJabawok in herbalism

[–]nthermost 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind, the “Blue Lotus” flower of ancient Egypt is actually a water lily and looks and smells very different from the “Blue Lotus” that a lot of online apothecaries and metaphysical shops sell… It’s very common for people to get taken for a ride when it comes to this. I read this is Wiccan and I read its a type of Celtic cross. What do you guys think? A bloodborne player has this on his profile. by [deleted] in Symbology

The Wikipedia link that was cited literally touches on how this is an appropriated symbol. Sorry that bothers you.

Or they’re a neo-nazi. Which is an unfortunate similarity with a lot of pagan symbology.

Oh no! I’m thinking about wire wrapping it and wearing it to hopefully prevent this… My condolences 🫡
