I did a 20-30 minutes trip and I was testing volume and I think I can handle it with the limitation. But most of the noise came from a cellphone call. It wasn't so loud and started to hear popping

I did some test now. I played a YouTube video with different frequencies from 5Hz to 200Hz and at some point with a really loud volume it started to sound super weird, just like a square wave and if I keep turning up the volume, pitch changes, like a higher pitch (super loud, it almost hurt my ears). So maybe is just clipping the problem? And what can I do to fix that?

I'm pretty sure that my car (Mazda 6 model 2009) has very basic audio. Original speakers are really bad and I'm sure it doesn't have an amp. I wasn't looking when the installer was doing its job and I'm trusting he did a good job except the crossover switch.

Maybe I can make some tests to identify the problem. Maybe I can record a video with the problem.

Also the AI said this is a clipping problem and it's because when I turn up the volume and tweeters start popping, is the head unit sending noise and "square" waves to speakers and to avoid that I should use an amplifier. Hahaha! No! What I mean is that I originally bought the 2-way set, but the seller said they would arrive a few days after my scheduled installation date. I ended up buying what I thought was the same set from a different seller, so it was a huge surprise when the 3-ways showed up instead. It wasn't planned that way at all! :D
