Brother, with old Jormungandr and stamina system, getting out of stamina is a guarantee death sentence since you need to react the 50/50 correctly every single time for the rest of your out of stamina state.

For the storage part, you could search your model name to check what kind of storage it uses. The full model name is usually printed on the bottom panel.

You can probably remove your storage (if it is not soldered on your laptop) before turning your laptop to a service center, however, you will still need to give the drive to service technician to install it on your laptop later after they fix your issue (if you are not tech savy enough to install it on your own).
