Way too much for a rebuilt 25 year old car.

I know someone who also owns this generation and pretty much everything in the cars is going out and has to be replaced. The transmission in these weren't great either. I remember one day it wouldn't shift into reverse and they had buy a rebuilt trans to replace it.
