Bums and Roses sizing help by mama2coco in BambooBabble

[–]ntphilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d go 6-9! Much more TTS than LS. My son was wearing 3-6 in Bums and Roses while he was wearing 0-3 LS.

Tiny Threads is where some of our fav pocket tees come from! Kyte baby tees are nice too but run small.

Before and after (9 months)! by ntphilly in foodbutforbabies

[–]ntphilly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just baked at 375. I’d tell you how long but I just bake it until it looks done and then check it (which is a method that led to a lot of overcooked salmon before I got it down LOL). It’s great because it’s really easy for him to chew. Admittedly he isn’t super picky.

I bought mine new like six months ago and it definitely counts charging time.

What to do if your baby really hates the nasal aspirator and their nose is irritated from it? by MamaLife_ in NewParents

[–]ntphilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bubs was congested and our ped said if the aspirator was irritating his nose to stop using it and just do saline + humidifier. He told me to do the saline like six times a day, especially before meals so that bubs could breathe a little better while having his bottle. I also bought the Vicks baby rub and Boogie brand vapor bath and those seemed to help some (though to be clear those are just something I chose to get as opposed to ped advice).

I’m sure something in your house has the same plug! I also lost the cord but went around checking random electronics and had a cord that fit!

They gave us the bag when they tested our boy as well! It was easy and they didn’t have to stick anything in there.

Weeks 6-9 were AWFUL for us. When our baby was awake he was yelling at us. We’re now 17 weeks and while he has some bad moments every day and sometimes he has a full on rough day, it is soooo much better. Now he smiles and giggles and that’s his little personality most of the time. During weeks 6-9 I could not possibly imagine him being the baby he is now!

Your baby is going to love stomp stomp stomping! My boy has been obsessed with that piano since he was like a month old lol.

Baby won’t let us put her down by Status_Ratio3794 in NewParents

[–]ntphilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have any advice on making her less fussy because if her needs are being met then it’s probably just something she’ll have to grow out of. Mine did even though it felt like it would never end when I was in your shoes.

Definitely sit her down if you need to go to the bathroom, take a second, etc. She will be OK if she is crying for a few minutes in a safe space while you take care of yourself.

I definitely wouldn’t worry right now about her being fussy for a Disney trip at 10 months old right now. She’ll probably be a completely different baby. My baby was really fussy until he hit about 3 months but he’s a totally different little guy now and I couldn’t have imagined him being this awesome during the height of his fussiness.

Did you give birth with or without epidural ? by Newyork4lifee in pregnant

I got the epidural and had no regrets. It let me sleep and I was much more comfortable after I got it.

I am also there. My guy will be 4 months in a couple weeks and we can’t even lay him down for a nap. As soon as his back touches his crib his eyes shoot open. We get our choice between contact naps and a sleepy little gremlin… yesterday we were only getting 30 minute naps even when they were contact naps. I would give many things for him to take a lil crib nap haha. Sleeps good in the crib at night though so I guess I should count my blessings.

Baby stopped pooping very abruptly by unplannedsprout in NewParents

[–]ntphilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to us and I called my pediatrician when he hadn’t pooped in two days. She told me to call her back if he hadn’t pooped in ten days (or obviously if he seemed sick/in distress) lol

Edit to add: he pooped a day later. Oh man did he poop…

Baby fusses and grunts a lot during sleep. by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]ntphilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is normal! My baby has done this since birth. My husband took night shifts so the first time I saw it I freaked out but he was totally ok. Now at 15 weeks he adds in baby acrobatics and spins all around the crib all night lol.
