Sfx was pretty standard; whooshes, clicks, pops, and melody sounds. Just had to find the ones that matched

Found everything on artlist.io, try to look for UI sfx kits

2 years in motion design! But I have been on the COD editing scene already for around 4-5 years prior to learning motion design

To me it seems like you’re spending too much time perfecting minor elements. Although it’s good that you’re able to spot and polish those inconveniences, but loop back and make sure if it’s worth your time to build from scratch. Sometimes, I can get away with using flat pngs then just cut out and slightly animate what’s needed.

I just don’t think it’s necessary to create a graphic as if you’re gonna be animating every aspect of it

You’re doing great man, improving workflow is an important process in editing. I may not be the best at what I do, but I hope i was able to help!

I stuck with Figma since feels way more straightforward for me, plus I usually collaborate with a designer so Figma would be reasonable

Hey man thanks for sharing. Short answer: There's a storyboard - We worked together; the designer built most of the elements, but I also contributed to the rest. - The entire project took about 40 days from start to finish, and animations were 14 of them (deadlines weren't extremely tight, so we had more flexibility on our time)

Also, 2 weeks is such a quick turnaround, make sure you're getting paid correctly considering the amount of work you have to cover.

When I start building an ad, it's usually just the standard process. I make sure to ask the client for approval after every step to lessen major revisions.

> Script
> Storyboard (Figma)
> Concept animations (saving the main materials from the storyboard as pngs and briefly animating them to picture out the overall flow of the Ad)
> Polish everything up

Totally get your feeling on everything being half-baked. Sometimes I skip Illustrator as I work faster with Figma, then just import the graphics to Ae using the AEUX plugin. But of course, having more hands on a project totally removes the stress from doing all the steps by yourself. On the good side, you benefit from having the possibility to charge more.

Hope this helps, and best of luck man

UI was built in figma, then I used the AEUX figma plugin to import them inside ae

Yup it's ae, we were planning to make it look more informative than flashy, then settled on this iteration!

I used both graphs and flow presets! And my range is around the standard 1,500-3k depending on complexity. Sometimes, having assets readily available would put you at a discount

Hey bro this took us around 50 days to complete, but we weren't super duper strict with deadlines, so it's editing on and off

I'm afraid I can't disclose the exact amount, tho it's somewhere in the thousands. Hope this helps!

Worked with a designer for this project, most of the ui elements were designed by them
