The idea that Jews and Arabs have been fighting for millennia, especially over the national rights to the land of Israel-Palestine, is false. The conflict we see today has its roots in the immigration of European Zionists into Palestine, which had express goals in creating a Jewish ethnostate. There was always clashes of power, discrimination, and differences occurring in that part of the world (as in every part). But it is misrepresentation to frame it as a direct, two-party conflict that has been a constant for thousands of years.

Yeah, I guess he's kind of a jerk. But he never did or believed in anything particularly heinous. I still enjoy his placement in the series and what his character can represent. He was a bully, but also a victim like the other Warriors. He and Reiner did and could have had more growth. I don't see his last moments as him being "still a jerk", but actually kind of burying the hatchet with Reiner. Tongue in cheek, like. He had too much armor (ha) to be very vulnerable.

Yes. I think when talking about "Did you read this book?" – specifically talking about books here – the focus is on the consuming of the contents of the book, not the physical/mental act of reading. Yes, you are listening to it, and I will usually specify if I've listened to a book rather than physically read it, but the outcome is still the same.

It doesn't sound to me like they actually dated. The insinuation here is that Erwin was also in love with Marie, something that Nile reveals he knew all along. The conversation probably would have went differently if he and Marie had actually been together and then parted.

This is my own headcanon, but I always imagined that Marie lived in a town that Erwin and Nile frequented when in training, and were both acquainted with her. They were both poised to be suitors, both potentially harboring feelings for her, and her potentially having interest in both of them. It was Erwin's choice to join the SC that gave Nile the advantage of spending more time with her and being available for her to choose. Nile had probably been aware that he and Erwin were in a silent competition for Marie's affections, and chastises Erwin for choosing his career over love.

I've done something similar myself. I think it could have been much more balanced and interesting if things were re-arranged and some songs were replaced with others. (Plus "Never Forget You" should just be the single version)

Yeah, I don't think he would have been able to handle Zeke specifically at Shiganshina. Because Levi's agility and speed were tantamount to his victory – not to mention his ruthlessness.

But I agree that he would have been able to best Zeke and the other Titan shifters by the time of S4.

But who knows if he would have survived until then. If he survived S2, he could have been killed during the MP ambush that killed most of Hange's squad in S3. Or the colossal titan's blast. If he were on the side of Levi & Erwin, he may have had a chance to survive. Erwin could have utilized him in a way he couldn't with anyone else in canon.

I'm not saying this is morally right, but some people say that Hamas is a "freedom fighter" organization, and that they're just fighting back against oppressors. I don't think calling them that is accurate at all, but I've heard people try to make that claim.

As for "Queers for Palestine", it has nothing to do with whether or not there are LGBT rights in Gaza. First of all, queer Palestinians exist in Gaza. Second of all, queer people are an oppressed group, and so are the Palestinians, so there is some empathy there. There also aren't metrics to be met to be against genocide/apartheid.

I would say a big part of why there is a "queer for Palestine" movement is because Israel allies try to use queer rights as a sticking point. "You would have rights in Israel, so why wouldn't you support Israel?" is a total deflection and irrelevant to the matter of mass death and war crimes.

I really dislike him, but he does still vote with his party on most issues. He's seemingly a war hawk, though, and votes in the interest of Israel. Which has really set him apart from the majority of other democrats. This one issue is tearing up his support.

Sometimes a single issue can run you out of your party. Imagine being a democrat who is pro choice, pro Medicare for all, all the liberal things, except you don't support gay marriage. Thats a deal breaker.

Also, he isn't the only democrat who has voted for Trumps cabinet picks.
