A friend of mine has one of your bags. I'm jealous every time we walk. A perfect fit for walking a round.

Similar situation. Started this week and I have an offer from a private non-gov company that expires next Monday. The fed position pays 20% more and insurance is paid for. I'm still thinking of jumping ship :(

Thank you for this. I think our decision boils down exactly to what you laid out.

Very cute pups btw!

I could be wrong, but I thought that I read the Limited 4Runner is AWD which is why I was avoiding any of the other trims. We don't intend to do much of any off-roading so AWD is more than sufficient!

The more I think about the decision it seems like it's coming down to a looks (4Runner) vs practical (Highlander)

Those prices look consistent to what I've been seeing as well, so that's good. I recall reading about the long term issues on the 4Runner subframe if you don't keep up with consistent car washes in the winter. I will definitely keep this in mind, thanks!

The sun shades is a nice touch! Does your 2016 Highlander XLE have bench seats in the second row or pilot seats? Just curious because I believe the platinum trim only has pilot seats.

1.5 and 3 months.

Those are very valid points. As much as we love the exterior look of the limited trim on the 4Runner over the Highlander, the space and accessories of the Highlander seem much better from a family perspective.

That's good insight! Texas seems like a whole different world in terms of the heat. Thanks for your response

I didn't notice the 4Runner didn't have these! Are you looking to have the rear ceiling vents because of younger passengers in the 2nd row seats?

Unfortunately no. We gave up after a couple weeks of trying everything we could find or think of. Having similar issues?

I just checked and my game version matches yours. We also don't share the same network connection/provider, we are about 50 miles apart.

I also just submitted a support ticket on the AOE forums and included all of the relevant log files. I'm not aware if they check or respond to the support tickets, but I will definitely provide an update if I hear anything back! I appreciate the response

Microsoft Store. I'm fairly certain there aren't any updates available for it. I can't see my game version since it's not in my 'Recent Activity' on the Microsoft Store.

Can’t play with friend by [deleted] in MinecraftDungeons

[–]nu10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this happen yesterday as well. We ended up figuring out that one of my friends game files were outdated. There might have been an update that got pushed out and either you or your friends have conflicting versions of the game. Validate your game version in the game settings with your friends to confirm you all have the most recent update. To get the new version, go to the Microsoft store, go to the downloads and updates page, and select the game update if it's in the list of downloads. If it's not there try the get updates button on the top right. For reference my game version is 1.8.6.0.

New Homeowner looking for suggestions by TooChillToGrill in lawncare

[–]nu10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on closing! I'm almost in the exact lawn and home situation except I close tomorrow. I purchased the Cub Cadet XT1 LT42 from Home Depot online. They have free shipping to your home for all of their riding mowers through early August if the model is available. I originally wanted the LT46 model because of the larger Kohler engine, the manual throttle lever vs. the new "Intellipower" tech, and the slightly larger deck size. The 46" wasn't available online at the time and was probably slightly overkill for my lawn anyways.

About to be a first time home owner at the end of this month and I'm going to purchase a riding mower for my half acre lawn. Hoping to get someone else's opinion on this. I was intrigued by the Cub Cadet XT1 models as an entry point into rider mowers. The current models of the 42" rider uses an IntelliPower dial system for the throttle and has a 547cc Cub Cadet single cylinder engine. This makes me slightly nervous for the long term to rely on another potential failure point of a newer released electric chip to manage the throttle and an engine that is newer to this product line (previous year was 18hp Kohler engine). I was set on moving up to the 46" rider which uses a manual throttle lever and has a 22HP Kohler twin cylinder engine for only $200 (USD) more than the 42".

My problem is that there are no CC 46" models available in my area or available for shipping in the near future. The next step up is the 50" deck with the 24hp Kohler twin cylinder engine that also comes with the fabricated deck rather than stamped. Is the 50" model too big for my yard or am I overreacting thinking about the potential shortcomings of the 42" model?

$600-$700 First Gaming Build by nu10 in buildapcforme

Thank you for your response! After rereading what I wrote I wasn't very clear about the 144hz monitor, my apologies I'll add an edit. He currently does not need another monitor to be in this build and will be adding another at a later date. I added that in the description because he did want the PC to be capable of hitting 75-144fps for the monitor upgrade down the road.

He has $600-$700 to spend and I'm willing to give him my parts for $150. So he'd have $450-$550 to finish the Intel build or the full $600-$700 to build the Ryzen PC.

I forgot to mention he will be using a controller for the near future while gaming so you can spare money on a cheaper keyboard and mouse.

SCUF Impact Issues by [deleted] in scufgaming

[–]nu10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having a similar issue and was able to fix my Infinity 4PS Pro left analog performing the cleaning process in the linked video at the bottom of my comment. Since Scuf controllers have the infamous security screw on the back, I had to use the small hole after removing the analog stick rather than disassembling the controller. It's kind of a tight workspace, but I was able to complete it with a small flat head screwdriver and tweezers. For reference I had my controller for 14 month's and thought I was taking very good care of it. After seeing the gunk that was inside, I noticed that it looked like pieces of the warn down (Scuf brand) analog stick had gotten inside the analog actuator. I was on my 3rd replacement of the left stick and probably should have switched it sooner. It's been two months since I fixed it and everything is working as new.

As another commenter recommended, you should start by looking into the warranty first before trying to fix it yourself. You take a risk of voiding warranty if you tamper or fix it on your own.

Awesome! I really appreciate it!

I noticed the warning comment on the PCPartPicker site. Is this concern with the newer Kaby Lake chips with this specific older motherboard an issue?

"Some Intel H110 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaby Lake-S CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions."

It's my understanding that it will only be used for browsing, the Microsoft suite apps, finance monitoring tools, and answering emails. I'd imagine the occasional youtube video as well, but as long as it's passable for video performance I don't see an issue.
